What was bad about it?

I think the plot was pretty poor
BurnSide
There wasn't really any mind-blowing inventive story, it's very cliche and done a million times before, they just gave it a new look. War between two countries, boy meets girl, boy goes to war, boy dies. Comes back from dead to kill a bunch of superhumans to stop global destruction. *shrugs* In a nutshell anyway. I enjoyed the plot, but i don't think that's really why people watch this movie. original.gif

Variety is always good when it comes to film!
Some people liked the anime Lord of the Rings better than the live action, but look at the huge audience that paid for tickets to see the live action version.
That is why I think a live action FF7 could be really big.
I hope Casshern will be the grandaddy of many great films to come.

Eww, the animated LotR is awful!

I thought so too. I could not even watch it all the way through, but different folks have different tastes it appears.

I didn't even know there was an animated LotR. Sounds bad, though.
BurnSide
It's like, 70's slow storytelling animation mixed with live-action Orcs.
Shakezulah
Sounds atrocious. Don't think I'll ever be looking for that.
BurnSide
Na, don't. Avoid it like the plague. I really tried, several times, to watch it. It's a good sleep-inducer that's for sure.
Talon
I liked the animated LotR, but the 1990 sequal and the animated Hobbit were rubbish.
