This is an experience that was sent to me via E-Mail a day or two ago.

I am new to this site, but am eager to share my experiences. I have a long history of paranormal contact, some good and some bad, but recently I had a most unique experience as I shall now describe.
I have an entity living in my home. He is peaceful and lets me know when he's present through my cat, who will "chatter" and stare in his direction. I've begun just saying "hello," and going on about my business.
One night a couple of months ago, I was in my bathroom preparing the bath and I saw from the corner of my eye a male figure walk past me into the bedroom. It had a white shirt and black trousers, and I at first thought it was my husband, but I heard him in the next room just as this was occurring., then it disappeared. Seconds later, my cat ran behind the toilet, her hair standing on end, staring at the door just behind my shoulder. I was actually too afraid to look for fear he might be standing there. He has made his presence known to me several times now, but I haven't seen him "materialize" again. ( for lack of a better word). Has anyone else ever "seen" their live-in ghost?

I have never seen one, but I have got the feeling something was behind me, just as I have turned around before.

That would have been a very freaky experiance. Thanks SaRuMaN and the anonamoys sendre of that e-mail! I hope that it helps others somehow which I am not sure of!

I believe that everyone has seen a ghost/sprite atleast once in there life time. I have :-) But I don't know why people really fear them? Maybe it has to do with all those ghost movies...

Heh, heh... I came here to read about a few experiences of others for a book I'm writing, and find myself being drawn into discussing my own happenstances over my life.

Our most recent happening was this one:

When we lived in Whitesboro, NY on Main Street... a guy that had lived there in our apartment 17-20 years earlier had died there. No big deal, right? People die in houses/apartments all the time.

Well this is the house that had an attic entrance stairway in the kitchen. At night, when anyone in the house would get up during those wee morning hours to go wee... the wee room was off of the kitchen. Not that far from the attic doorway. You could hear someone walk down the stairs in what sounded like sock feet. No, the door wouldn't open...but we all began turning on the kitchen light and closing the wee room door. Then, there were a few times before the infamous french fries fire incident (don't ask, my daughter burned the kitchen up)....when my wife and daughter SWORE they saw the shadow of feet beneath the door of the wee room during several differing hours of the day. This happened at a time when no one else was in the aprtment save them.

We had ONE halloween party there. My friends, Dennis, Sara-Fred, and TwilightJoy was there. Nothing spooky happened that night though...
