That costume looks pretty fake in the face, but Im sure that there are some bigfoot sightings that are fakes or hoaxes by other people.

You would have to watch yourself wearing those things in the rural parts of the US. Some farmer or woodjin would fill you full of buckshot.......Yeah, I agree. Some knucklehead would drop the cash to run around in that.

Yeah, my uncle has a bigfoot-like costume. . .My grandma was always saying there was one in the woods, and it was sort of like a local legend. My uncle thought it'd be funny to get a costume and see how many people thought he was bigfoot. Not a really good idea considering she lives pretty much in the middle of nowhere and there are a lot of hunters around there.

My boyfriend has a male ancestor who was caputed by Yankees in the Civil War. He escaped and swam naked across the river, and, according to family lore, was so hairy he was mistaken for a bear and not shot.

Bigfoots could just be naked hairy men running through the woods for some unknown reason.

I believe many of the sightings are just misinterpretations or lies,but there's got to be something more than that.

If you see one of these people in the costumes. It will probably look real far away but if you look closely, you can easily tell it's fake. Who knows maybe most of these sightings, videos, and photographs are faked by people in costumes that just want to fun in the forest for fun!

It is possible that costumes like these account for alot of sightings, it might account for some of the footprints as well... what it does NOT account for is the massive size of 7-8 foot height, weight, huge muscular body, and numerous other characteristics reported at sightings.
