Anyone out there? It might just be me but I have an experience that I think is strange. I live in India and the other night my 2 yr old didn't want to go to sleep in his bed. After struggling for 2 hours he says that he can't go to his bed cause he's scared. I said why? he said cause she's going to get me! I said who? the kid. what kid? In my room. I can't mommy. I can't. The monster's going to get me. I said there's no monster and I took a flashlight and showed him that there was nobody there. He was so frightened that I let him sleep with me. I got scared cause he's never said that before. He's 2 yrs old and he doesn't have that much of a "creative" imaginationto make it up. I don't let him watch scary cartoons or even Power Rangers. Then just last night he fell asleep in his bed and his sister was asleep in her crib (the same room) before they fell asleep I played a soothing, calm baby CD that helps babies go to sleep. I was awake when the CD had finished therefore I knew it was over. I was dead in my sleep and all of a sudden heard my son crying. He was screaming I sat up and then about 10 seconds later he went to his bedroom door (in which I can see from my bed) and I quickly said come here to mommy baby! He came to my bed and fell asleep. I noticed that his CD player was on and song number 8 was playing. Usually when the cd is over it doesn't repeat and play over again. I thought that was strange. Is it me or is something freaky going on? Ever since we have moved here I always said that I felt strange in here. Like we weren't alone in the house. Sometimes in my peripheral vision I see something walk by. I think it's my kid but it's not. One day I was having a conversation with someone and they quickly did a double take and thought they saw something walk by. What should I do? Is it just me?

Ma'm, I would like to say first of all you are not crazy. I am very sensitive to the spirit world and have a small amount of foreseeing. My boyfriend is also sensitive and he sees things out of the corners of his eyes as well. At first I didnt' believe him, thinking it was because he has glasses. But one day he said he saw something and I felt a chill down my spine and knew that something was really there.
But anyway, children are very sensitive to the spirit world for some reason I don't know for sure, I think it has something to do with being more easily scared. Most spirits are bad, they feed off of fear to grow stronger. I suggest that you keep your son close at night or that you put religious icons around his room and make sure that he prays and knows he is safe somehow.
If you would like to talk to me more, which I would like so I can further analyze the situation and hopefully help out. The worst thing though, is to be alone when the bad spirits are around it is best to stay close togehter, people are stronger than a person.

It's definitely something to look into.

If it is indeed a ghost, I don't suggest telling it to leave just yet; as it may anger her. If I were you, I'd try welcoming her into your home. Make sure she doesn't feel threatened, and then see what occurs over the next few days.

Please report back with any other happenings.

Please don't listen to that person, you should NEVER, never invite any spirits into your home ever! It is a really bad idea that can only lead to more misfourtune in the future

well, if the spirit is in fact the remnant of a human now departed, wouldn't they prefer being invited and treated civily as opposed to abusing and ordering them out? meh, preferences i guess. creepy story though

After the first night I said a couple of prayers aloud and said that evil isn't welcomed here. Then the next night the cd thing happened. I'm kind of creeped out but I'm curious to see what happens tonight. I have heard conflicting stories as to inviting spirits in and helping them cross over and stuff like that. I'm curious to know who the previous tenants were. I'll keep you all posted. Thanks for the advice.

I would never try to intereact with "it". Or even prayer aloud and put religious pendants, etc up in a room. That's just almost "asking for it" if you will...

That's just me though...

Really creepy that things like that are happening, things of that sort used to happen to me, but I never saw anything. As a child I did, but not anymore, the things still happen though.

It's not harming me and I don't feel threatended, so if there is in fact anything there, it's not a bad spirit.
Exile
I would cleanse the room. If the spirit is evil, it will leave.

I disagree, I think you just need to stop falling for the kids "tricks", they will say anything to sleep with Mommy....also...you get Power Rangers in India?

Believe it or not we do get power rangers. It's even in English. There's some cartoon stations that are in Hindi and like 2 or 3 stations in English. It's definitely not updated stuff. I'll take into consideration all the replies. I'll keep you updated on the new experiences or occurrences.

You are not crazy....
Not in this regard anyway (I don't know you other wise...lol)

In any event, fear is such a terrible emotion to feel for anyone, let alone a small child…
I feel for your son…

I know you can get it sorted out…
I left you a PM, if you care to see how.

Usually children are very intuitive when it comes to issues such as this.
The less you show him fear, the better too…”you” be strong right now (I’m sure you are showing him that strength)

Fear can be dispelled and light let in, in any circumstances….
