This is obviously some artsie fartsie attempt at "art". Also, an attempt at publicity.

Heh... I don't think it's an attempt at art. I *DO* think that it's somebody trying to get a message across. Probably with a list of mental problems. I would like to know why they are doing it, and what connection they're trying to prove. Are they saying that Kubrick was right and that a "starchild" has been born?

Product of mental illness, art, or actions by someone who is on to something, these things fascinate the life out of me. The sad part is, as a huge fan of the "Space Odyssey" novels, I understand what the tiles creator is trying to say. Our next step is out, off the third rock and into the solar system. Who knows what lies in the rest of the universe? Maybe we can resurrect the dead on Jupiter. Maybe there are starchildren.
I haven't heard anything new on these in a while though. Does anyone have any updates or has the occurrence of tiles stopped?
