I recently watched an interesting video that was on TV this past Sunday.

They called it "Weird Travels- Alien Encounters", but I think an appropriate name would be "UFO's and Alien Encounters"

A quick overview:

On this video you hear from Friedman, Lazar, Travis Walton (I really liked watching this bit). It also talks about the UFO's seen during the July 11,1991 solar eclipse and the humanoids in Mexico.
One incident that happened in Mexico was a Police officer was attacked by a Humanoid on January 16th, 2004. (very strange!) A drawing of what he encountered- he was pretty shook up and rightfully so!:



Then it talks about the "Phoenix Lights" March 13, 1997 with Jeff Willes and Dr Lynne Kitei. (she sounds a bit like me.. reluctant to come forward, while trying to find some logical explanation to what's been seen...) A very interesting segment.

Now this is just MY THOUGHTS : since this UFO(s) in Phoenix was seen for about 3 hours, and THOUSANDS saw this from MILES around , and will probably NEVER forget it for as long as they live, why didn't the Military or NORAD do something AT THE TIME of this incident? Although this was prior to 9/11, but GEEZ! 3 hours and thousands saw this and NO ACTION taken?! very strange! OR... was this a TEST agreed by the government for the aliens to TEST US in this fashion to see how the public would react?? (just a thought)

Then the video talks briefly about what did our Ancestors know about UFO's and Aliens.

I tested this with Windows Media player and BS Player to review this video (BS Player is also free and easier to size the video than Media Player)

Anyway, after the trouble I've been through trying to share this video, I might have to do it this way from here on out. Google is being a stinker and other places allow only so much to be uploaded at one time.. *sigh*

You guys are welcome! I am trying to look into other options for "future" vids. There are a few coming up on the History Channel soon. Many that visit this forum are from other countries and do not have this channel either.

For those having problems with the Megaupload link from my previous post, I also tested out this other site where you can download this same video - AND Apparently after April 1st, this site will be increasing their download speeds as well . AND one can upload 500MB to FileFactory compared to the MegaUpload of 250 megs limit (cool eh?)

Whew! Nice long post cinders... ;] And i saw all of that program. Weird that it was on the Travel channel, huh? Anywayszs, you really have something going there when you said that maybe the US gov't didn't try to cover it up because they wanted to see how the general public would react to a situation like this. And in the test of sanity [from what they made it seem like at least] they passed and took it pretty well! I never thought of that, smart idea.

I remember someone on the board saying earlier that they were one of these... chosen witnesses. Can you come out come out wherever you are- pretty please? And share your view on the story? Oh and anyone else is welcome if they can relate. I'd like to know if there were any claims of alien abductions from that night. Granted that there probably are. For some reason I really like hearing people's recounts of alien abduction stories. I guess its kinda a comfort to me that there are other people that believe strongly in the phenomenon! :] So SPILLLL the beans!

Hey to ANY and ALL .. I am still working on the best way to share some vids

I've just tested this REALLY coooool site out where you can watch videos online and/or download them as well as RESIZE the video you are watching - (sometimes changing the size you get a better quality view depending on how the video was formated)

I found that if I uploaded over 100 megs to this site as WMV or mpg, I had problems, if I split it in parts, it works great!

Anyway, this is the same video I posted earlier, but I wanted to test this new site out for upcoming vids for us to watch and discuss together.
(ie: like a few of the UFO files found here: UFO Files TV Schedule )

Please can a few people test these links out and let me know how they work for you? I am on fast connection, so I am not sure
how it will work for those on dial up:

Do you mean from the recent online links I posted? Are you on Dial up? Even though I am on Cable internet connection, it still takes a while to finally load - but it does. I've only got this working using IE based browsers. (Avant, Maxthon or Internet Explorer) I haven't got this to work with Firefox.

Well, I've tried to make this available on line as well as for download. I will keep testing to see what works best.

I am wondering if I should convert these to lower quality RAM instead of uploading them as WMV so that those on dial up will be able to watch these. RAM will be a smaller file to deal with I think than the WMV files.

Ohhh I saw that (after I reviewed this video) .. it was recording onto a computer but I did not know at the time that Lake Monsters was coming up and did not schedule that. I am so sorry - I wished I had recorded that episode as well.

Wow, holy... so many documentaries. Its amazing, almost EVERYDAY!!! Is it ok if we ask you to publish all those airings? or is it too much for you? Either way its fine, but i would love to WATCH them all lol. Im sure the rest of the members on this forum would love that too.

Hey, I think what I am going to do.. is make a small "PREVIEW" of a show that can be reviewed online. And if one wants it, there will also be a link to download the "full video" to it. (of course broken up in 2 parts so it is easier for those on dial up to download) This way, I won't have to delete previous show, and the previews will be smaller for review so that those on dial up can even review before downloading it.

I am soooo glad you did remind me about this - Because of having to change our clocks AHEAD one hour, the programming on the program used to record these shows was an HOUR OFF! LOL fortunately we caught it in time!

So what happened with the documentaries?

hey cinders could you please explain how u got them clips onto posts becuse i tried and it never fit, it was too big, please explain because i have a few vids that i would like to share with other people.

How big are your files? I converted the mpgs to a decent wmv format which makes the file smaller and easier for some to download. I usually break them into 2 parts so that dial up users can download them as well.

Some of these I will also make a "snippet preview" -- which is 10 to 15 megs and upload it to veeky.com or Dailymotion.com to view online.

Then if people like them, they just download from the links (such as FileFactory, megaupload, Rapidshare etc)

To show your vids on line - it really all depends:

YouTube will only allow up to 100 megs.
Google video has a HUGE allowance (I've seen vids there over 2.5 hrs long) , but they have certain criteria of what they will allow. Like they allowed the "Out of the Blue" Video I uploaded there, that is no longer on TV or sold on Amazon. And Google can take 2 to 3 days for approval to go live. (See "Out of the Blue" here:

DailyMotion is up to 150 megs
Veeky seems unlimited.. however, I found anything over 40 megs can even cause problems for those even on fast connection. They also provide ONLINE viewing as well as a link of the online vid as a download.
Zippyvideos.com allows up to 20 megs or if you sign up (for free) it will allow 100 megs.
