user posted imageA Scots aristocrat with a love of the unexplained was in the country’s paranormal hot spot yesterday to talk about the crop circles mystery. The Earl of Haddington was guest speaker at a meeting of the Scottish Dowsing Association in Bonnybridge, near Falkirk, which has been dubbed the UFO capital of the globe after hundreds of mysterious sightings. The town was the perfect venue for devotees seeking out hidden secrets with dowsing rods because it’s seen more strange goings-on than you can shake a stick at — including two crop circles last year. The 13th Earl of Haddington, who took up dowsing to help him study crop circles, told his audience that he believes the strange shapes that appear in fields may hold hidden messages relating to conflict in the Middle East. Lord Haddington’s fascination with the circles came about after a lifelong interest in spooky happenings. The 61-year-old former photographer revealed his first brush with the paranormal was during childhood at Mellerstain House, his family’s mansion near Kelso.

“The place has several ghosts. I never saw them but I often heard them. It wasn’t uncommon to hear footsteps in an empty room. But they were friendly spirits and I never found them scary.”

I agree entirely.

That is a bizarre theory. wacko.gif

If the aliens had a message about the middle east, wouldn't they just project it onto the side of the House of Commons, like everyone else?
