The bombing of trains in Madrid on 3/11 of 2004 is being revealed by some journalists as a real conspiracy leaded by the oposition to president Aznar to grab the power.

Investigations indicated that:

-Men setting the bombs, who had their faces covered, were recognized by the person selling the tickets like people speaking Spanish without any accent. All radicals supposedly involved had a clear north African accent.
-The bag with explosives leading to islamic radicals was set in the place by somebody after the explosions. It was almost by sure, a false evidence.
-At the sight of the destruction caused many expert said the explosive used in trains was of the military one: C3 or C4, not the dinamite that the islamics were managing. The analysis fulfilled afterwards indicated no trace of explosives in the destroyed trains...which support the theory of military explosives that the islamics never possesed.

...and many more evidence about a conspiracy I am going to list next days.

Was it the inteligance agency that verified that for you?

Anyways, I don't have evidence it was an inside job, and for all I know probably was terrorists. The only thing I have to add is that the Madrid bombings were 911 days after september 11th, 2001.

Yes, The Army of Abu-Ash Al Masri (or something like that) claimed responsability for the bombings the same day it happened....as they did by the New York electricity fail and many other stuff....No one gave credibility to them in any moment. Indeed Al Qaeda never claim for this bombing. Moreover, there are many reasons to think Al-Qaeda was not involved:

- It was not a suicide bombing
- There are non muslim people involved
- There are common criminals (dealers) involved

This would be the first case in which Al Qaeda uses this sort of people.
SoLLiZ
wasn't it 912 days when you factor in the time zones?

oh, and just because a terrorist claims something, it isn't always so. there was some bomb that went off a few years ago in phillipines and a dozen groups claimed responsibilty.

Didn't Bin Laden release a statement directly after 9/11 condeming the attacks and saying Al Qaeda was not responsible?

See, as President George W. Bush proved, sometimes terrorist groups don't claim responsibility for things they've done.

True! Indeed, Al Qaeda ussually does not claim for any terrorist killing...but undoubtly they always follows a pattern that allows to identify their actions. One of them is using suicides to assure the bombing. That happened in London but it did not happen in Madrid. With regard to the date of the bombing it was just done 3 days before the election to make influence in the final result as it happened.

It is unlikely it was actually suicide bombers in London.

That's because Al Qaeda didn't do it. Al Qaeda is a myth.

How did George W. Bush prove that?
