George Orwell.....one of the most fascinating authors I know. Though he only published a few essays, and two novels...they are extrordinarily important. They are "Animal Farm" and "Nineteen Eighty-Four".
Both are government critical, put open a fascinating world to us.
So, what do you think?

I think George was a few decades too early, but pretty much bang on in regards to 1984.

A few decades to early? How so....you mean ahead of his time?

I mean the Big Brother society he envisioned, he was a few decades too early in setting it in 1984.

I really like him. He's probably up there towards the top on my favorite authors list. I just finished reading 1984 about a month ago. I read Animal Farm last year in English class.
