This was on the History Channel - called Cattle Mutilations. We sort of messed up and missed the first 10 minutes of this, but the the remainder 33 minutes is still interesting to watch (links below).

**Warning - this is kinda gross ... I could not cook up the beef stew we were to have last night after watching this! ***

What REALLY caught my eye in this particular episode is the certain UFO they showed from a newspaper article as well as a very small snippet video of the UFO. And this UFO looks so similar to what I video taped in 1992.
(If anyone knows any details about this particular UFO, please let me know. There is a video out there for it - I've just never seen it. I'd like to also know what colour it was and when this was seen)

But Banser, I got several pm's that FileFactory was not working for some. For "each" file, it takes about 40 to 50 minutes to upload.

I really can't upload to BOTH places with all these files. It takes me 80 to 90 min. to convert these to a smaller but satisfactory video then another 90 to 120 minutes to upload to a web site. And YouSendit.com links expire after 7 days. *sigh*

I don't know what to do.. there's got to be a place that's great for ALL because coming up soon is this and we DEFINATELY want to record this one:

Are you sure it's working for you -- 'cause I felt so bad for you, I am now uploading part 1 to Filefactory right now.. LOL it will take about an hour to an hour and a half for both to be done.

I have MSN but I don't use it... lol I have MSN, Yahoo, FireFly, GoogleTalk, ICQ etc, but I just don't use them anymore.

I have a vid taken by my stepson that's too large to email, how easy are these file sharing sites to use?

YOUTUBE, and Google will NOT ALLOW these particular vids to be viewed online... AND files this large (about 50 megs each normally) can not be easily played online for those on dial up, AND you can not download these easily from these sites.

YouSendit is good, BUT the link expires in 7 days, and I am sure someone would miss getting it, and request it to be reuploaded again.

I've tried to upload WHOLE shows on DailyMotion.com and Veeky.com but they don't work even when conecting using a fast connection
So I usually will just put up a 5 to 6 minute "Preview" on one of these and upload the whole thing in two parts for downloading from MegaUpload or FileFactory.

All are rather easy to use.. it just depends on the size and if you are on dial up etc.

A 40 to 50 meg file can take up to 30 to 45 minutes to upload and I am on cable internet connection.

YouSendit.com will do up to 1 gig, but the link expires in 7 days.
FileFactory is up to 500 megs (link good as long as the link is clicked on within 15 days)
MegaUpload is 250 megs

What format is your video in? I convert the high quality Mpeg vids into a lower quality but still reasonably good to view WMV format. Then I split the file in 2 parts so that people on dial up can have a chance to download the file.

I bunged it on the MegaUpload site. I couldn't tell if this does the same as FileFactory and expires the file after 15days of no downloads?

I tried to download it several times and with different browser and the operation kept timing out etc and it would not come over for some reason. I sort of dislike MegaUpload as it shows too many T&A adds on that site now.. (grrrr) but hey it's free and I am sure the guys don't mind. LOL

Or if you want, since the file is only 24 megs, you can sign up for FREE with http://www.veeky.com - there people can VIEW it online as well as DOWNLOAD the video. (I usually edit my vids there so no one can use SEARCH to find my videos)

I grew up in rural Missouri, and personally knew several farmers who had cattle mutilations on their own property. In some cases it turned out to be nothing more than pranksters, etc, but in other instances, no logical conclusive evidence could be found as to the cause. Most folks simply refuse to speak of the subject, though over several years I did find a few. Each one of these folks were of the belief that they were caused by aliens and some actually had reported UFO's to the local radio station. Strangely, the mutilations continue to this very day!

Albaby, which one do you mean? The links I posted from megaupload or filefactory? These are only in .wmv format (as what I've always used for these)

If you are talking about Dailymotion or veeky.com - those are what I just use to make a small "preview" and if they don't load right away, wait a bit, then give it a try.

I will be working on the British X-Files today, but it's rather ho-hum. Some parts are interesting, while other bits are rediculous or insulting really. Next week shows should be better.. (I hope)

Actually I meant the Megaupload. I did, however, watch the other two recent vids you posted. For some reason my computer all of a sudden doen't like it when I go to these share sites. My computers probably got a bug, either that or spyware. I got some pretty good programs to fight these things, you know how that goes. I'll see what I can do about it tomorrow. It's time for bed.
