I'm starting to post some really long, drawn out replies to some threads, which got me to thinking, maybe I should start a column in the editorials section. It is mostly for me, granted, but I wanna see how many of my lovely folks on UM would actually pop in to read it. There will be no general topic, just some random thoughts on random topics, coming to you every week. Asking SaRuMaN for permission right now, and hope it goes over well. And yes, it will be funny.

Well, maybe, and this is just my random thought, but maybe you should have asked Saruman before even writing this, just so he actually feels he has the option of saying yes or no, without feeling like he has to without looking like a meanie...

You don't need an editorial here to write what you want, so my vote is for no. Sorry. It is better to have as few places as possible to go to for information.. Might as well stick with the rest of us, SP.

No offense taken Reese, I asked for your opinion, and you gave it. Thanks anyhow. And I started the poll before I asked permission, which was a bad idea, certainly, but I did ask permission immediately after, so ah, forget it. And I won't think he's a meanie if he says no, as no one else should.

Thanks Puffy!!! I am always apprehensive about giving my opinion, but you certainly took it very graciously. See, if your comments about things are on another page, I would probably always forget to go and look there, so for me, that is why it is better if you post here. Thanks for not getting mad, as I really didn't mean it in a bad way.. Hopefully now you see why I said that... (Too forgetful)

Actually, I voted whatever, not gonna take sides on my own poll. and Reese, if I ask for your opinion, that means I want your opinion don't tell me what you think I want to hear just so you don't hurt my feelings. I would much rather hear the truth.

You would be surprised at how many people say they want someone's opinion, until they hear it. You are the rare exception, you can believe that!!!

Sounds like a good idea to me, I have nothing against you being a columnist on UM, I welcome all editorial contributions.

What you'll need to do first is come up with a name for your column, just like Nancy has done with her 'this'n'that' editorials.

I too enjoy reading editorials, especially ones with a humorous slant. I say go for it.
