For the past several days, maybe a week or so, I've been having to log in every time I come to UM, even though I still have the log-in cookie. I also have been getting logged out from time to time when I move from one forum to another. Every time I log back in I check to be certain that "remember me" is checked, but it really doesn't seem to make any difference. Is this a problem with the site or could it be a problem on my end?

I think it's on your end for sure. Have you made any changes/installed software that might be disabling cookies? Have you or any software changed your Internet security settings?

I've had the same problem on a different forum (that uses the same script as this). One day, all of a sudden I just ahd to start logging in every time I got on to the site.

As an aside, if I access my PM box via my email account, UM has started to ask me to log in (it never did this before), though it still recognizes me if I go straight to the forum's.....

I seem to have solved the problem, so far. I deleted all my old UM cookies and then signed in again making a new cookie and now I'm staying logged. Had there been a change in IP address for UM or something?

I don't think so, i've experienced no problems with my cookies...but it is good to hear that you've resolved the issue.

It does sound like the cookie may have had a problem, though I do know that the setting in your browser internet options about how long you keep information can create an issue if set to 0. But since this is fixed, Ill close the thread.
