Marauder220
Hello all. I live near Monroeville, Pennsylvania. In a nearby town there is a small old cemetary. The cemetary is on Leger road in North Huntington. I have had several odd experiences there and have heard many rumors locally about the place.
I am trying to locate anyone who may be familiar with this area and it's history. I also note that there are some psuedo-wiccan events that are conducted near it., and have been trying to make contact with any involved. Thanks all.

I'm a little confused on the info you are looking for. I found a haunted cemetary in Monreoville called, "Restland Cemetary", and one in Irwin called "Leger Road Cemetary". I'm going to assume you mean the latter so her is a little of what I've found:

Irwin - Leger Road Cemetery - There is a great deal of history to this site. It is haunted by spirits of Choctaw Indians who were attacked by English settlers many years ago. You can see shadows of things, negative entities, as well as the sound of footsteps in the grass.

That's all I can find. I'd suggest a trip to the town's local libray to look up the history of the Choctaw Indians of the time. Hope that helps a little. original.gif

Starlyte,

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for being so vague, I posted during a double shift and was a bit groggy.
The Leger Rd Cemetary is what I'm talking about. The place is downright strange. Negative entities is an understatement! original.gif Depending on the day, one can definatly tell there is something odd there.
Here's something strange though. The cemetary has an old metal sign on a part of the fence that says "Brush Creek Cemetary" I found that Brush Creek cemetary is much farther away from there, out on the other side of Irwin. I've spoken to some local residents and they all seem to agree it was called Leger Rd Cemetary. There used to be an old farm there that burned along time ago. I've checked around various sources and info has been sketchy at best.
Thanks again!

I just have to ask; What is a psuedo-wiccan event? dontgetit.gif

Psuedo-Wiccan is probably the best way to describe what I've found there. In one area I've found some markings and ritual sights which from what I can tell are of wiccan origin. On another area I've found a cat's head on a stick in the middle of a crudely painted pentagram. Looks like it was a muddle of things put together, but it could just be a bunch of demented kids doing sadistic stuff in the forest.

Man, excuse my candor here, but I think you're confused a tad. dontgetit.gif

Wiccans do not sacrifice cats under any circumstances.

What you stumbled across is/are the possible remains of satanism. ...or as you suggested, kids with sick minds...who might even worship Satan. Who knows?
Psuedo-Wiccan is a false descriptive, Marauder.

You said the Monroeville area of PA, huh? I'll see what I can find out from some friends of mine in that area. I know we're all of differing thoughts, philosophies, and religions here...so associating heads of dead (sacrificed) cats and white wichcraft might not be a good one. wink2.gif

Daring,

Sorry for grouping everything together there. I should have explained my findings a bit better. These are two separate sights.
In one area there are signs that there have been wiccan rituals there. Markings and remnants of candles and such. There were some markings found that a friend of mine checked up on and found them to be related to a form of candle-magic, etc, per several books he has on the subject.
Then, there is another area, a bit farther away from there that we found the dead animals, pentagram and cat's head on a stick. They seem to be entirely unrelated and seem to be frequented by two entirely different groups of people. Very recently however, both sights seem to have gone inactive.

Here's the part that really got me interested. Here in Monroeville, on the border line with Penn Township, there is an old abandoned brick yard\mine way back in the woods. I've been hiking the area since I was very young, and about 3 years back I started to find the same sort of things in that area as well. Recently activity has picked up in this area as well. There are usually kids hanging out and drinking in the area, but we found the pentagram and cat's head on stick here as well. I'm guessing it could be the same group using different sights. I've hiked back in at night sometimes and stumbled upon a ritual-in-progress around a large bonfire. They usually post a lookout it seems who likes to shoot at people to try and chase them away. Overall not a friendly group.
For some reason this all peaked my curiousity greatly as to what the heck is going on in this area. Thanks again!

Well, Marauder...

I still don't believe that your physical findings are Wiccan based. I happened to be traveling over the last several weeks and stopped in the Monroeville area and, believe it or not, actually looked around several old cemetaries in that region. I found nothing. Don't think I'm calling you a liar, because I am not. I simply didn't find anything that might be the area you described...and I doubt that I happened upon the right cemetary.

I came back here to find another PM asking me if I was a Satanist. I am not , btw. But it seemed like an intelligent decision based on the timing to change my avatar. So I changed it to a pumpkin. Then, in further restrospective examination of said avatar... I soon came to think it (the pumpkin) displayed *evil* in its carvings so, I have changed my avatar .. yet one last time.

I think people see in these sorts of instances WHAT they want to see. Good luck with your quest.

the cats head is regarded usually as mutilation, it could have been done by satinists, which you should by all means steer clear of, also it could have been done by witches, as some sort of protection ritual, i think satanists more though, this site obviously has drawn these people because of the horror the indians went through. stay safe.
