Ok, I know alot of people in here are going to say "omg this thread is stupid, close it now" but just hear me out. Im not sayin i believe in this, but it may be true. About a week ago I was reading something about how tupac was approaches by a man that told him of jesus, before this tupac was not too religious. This was about a year before the night in vegas (i say the night in vegas rather than his death because many people believe many different things that happened that day) after this tupac started to realize was here, he had to give a message about violence to the people. "i heard rumor i died murdered in cold blood, traumatized, pictures of me in my finals state you know momma cried....but that was fiction some coward got the story twisted like i no longer exisisted mysteriously missing" this was in a song b4 the death of pac....i dont want want to go any further i will let you all argue about it. I know that some people say some silly things when it comes to tupac but no matter what the fact still remains that there was something very mysterious about the death of tupac shakur

I don't see why being approached by a man talking about Jesus makes him a prophet.

Tupac 4:15 And then I saw the MTV logo in the sky and praised it and bowed down and worshipped the great O viacom.
I don't see why any of this makes him a prophet. Its like Nostradomus's generic predictions.
"One day I will be shot" geez who saw that coming.

Perhaps they mean that he had a vision of the future that he told others and to many that is what a prophet is.

I'm usualy not playing the role of a critic here
but when it comes to all these tupac threads... I just can't help myself. The guy was a music artist, a rapper. He's no more a prophet than I am.
No offence; get over his death and look forward, stop looking back

5.The fifth vision had to do with the moral problem of our age, centering mostly around women. With this vision he saw the terrible perversion and moral plight of the whole world
6.Then in the sixth vision there arose up in America a most beautiful, but cruel woman. She held the people in her complete power
7.The last and seventh vision was wherein he heard a most terrible explosion. He turned to look and saw nothing but debris, craters, and smoke all over the land of America. (from site)
If this was what Tupac believed and the Clintons knew about this......
Hmmm.
I did not know about his beliefs and this is fascinating. TY for site!

He was a rapper, one of the few goods one's, and was murdered. I sincerely doubt he was a prophet although he may have liked to think of himself as one, and even if he was no one has followed him in any way other than buying his records so he wouldn't have been a very succesful one.

please go to the link before you reply because that was the point i was trying to get across...not just the rapper part...and on that note he wasnt just rapper he was a poet an artist and an actor how many rappers do u know that have a mainstream poetry book out?

Been to the link, still really doubt Tupac was a prophet anywhere else than in his own head. It could be argued that a rapper is a poet of sorts, although not all of them can even rhyme these days

This might be a case of cultural misunderstanding. You see in southern churches both black and white those members who have visions of the future often carry the title of prophet before their last name, like Prophet F.C. Cherry for example.

Tupac, a man of violence and drugs, I don't believe was a prophet. As for his death, it may have been conspired, but it was just cause. Sorry, but in my eyes Tupac lived a very evil life, he may have reformed, but that is up for God to decide. As for his "alleged fake death", I am the one who has to investigate homicides, and I highly, highly, repeat highly doubt that he could fake his own death and to this day remain "underground".

I do not think it is a stupid thread.
Malcome X was killed after he became more moderate in his religious beliefs, possibly because others no longer trusted him who were still filled with hate.
For urban kids who live in tough areas it might mean a great deal to them if they learn that Tupac had embraced love for mankind and renounced evil before he passed.

IF any of you have the mind to think thats true than you understand tha tupac may have faked his death and remained underground. louie, becuase tupac was a rapper isnt what gives him the oppurtunity to be a prophet, he was not just a rappper he was a poet and an actor as well, im not sayin he was a prophet im saying he changed the ways millions of people think, in one interview he said he wouldnt change the world but he was positive he would spark the brain of the person who will, he passed the word on to other people. There was also something VERY mysterious about his final night in las vegas

Some of britney spears songs rhyme just like tupac, She has done some very poor acting just like tupac, she sing just like tupac. Therefore shes a poet an actor and a singer but my mistake. She was never a drug dealer or a murderer etc so to be your prophet a singer/poet/actor needs to be a major criminal.... ?
