iv had a very scary incident before,a family member died about a year ago, it was very upsetting and i dnt realy like talking to people when things like this happen i like jst pretending its all ok. a few week after he died i was up late and i went into my kitchen to get a drink and saw a shadowy figure down the botom end of the kitchen,thinking that it was jst my dad i askd him why he was up so late, i heard a mumbled voice and frooze on the spot. i didnt know what to think or do. i knew it was him *my granda* i askd him a question i wud rather keep to myself, he mumbled again then vanished, this happen again a few month later in my room, i was a bit more prepared this time and askd him again, the mumbly noice continued, iv never seen him since.
could any of you please tell me why he came bak? and why to me? and if he cums bak agen could sum1 please tell me how to make the mumbly noice more clear so i can hear his anser?

I'm not at all qualified to answer this, so don't take my opinion as fact.
I'm guessing he came to you, if he did, to either:
reassure you he was OK
check how you were doing
give you some comfort

or something like that. I really have no idea.
If you know it's him, and you had a good relationship with him when he lived, don't fear his spirit. If you get scared when he shows up, it may cause him not to show himself for you again, I think.

I do not know how to make the voice clearer, unless you taped it. If your grandfather loved you though, it might be a common message most grandfathers give to their grandsons which is "Do the right thing."

interesting experience indeed, and i agree with final remark, try conversing with it if at all possible, i've always wanted someone who has spoken of such an encounter to try to converse with what they'd seen.

I don't think so, because they are limited to only certain amount of time to stay on earth.
But they can request to go back if that is very important.
If you can juggle the words he said then we might be able to decipher it. (maybe)

It is possible he could come back. Do you have a tape recorder or perhaps an .mp3 player with voice recording capabilities? If so, take it with you and start recording as soon as you see him. If he says anything, you can play it back later. If you don't have it already download a program called Audacity. Using Audacity you can slow down the recording, or speed it up, whatever is necessary and perhaps then you will be able to make out what he said to you.

erm wish i could help u there, but i never understood a word he said, it was just a low, deep, murmering noice. sorry, i realy wish i knew his anser it was quite inportant so if anyone can help then please say so.

Hey Gall,
Yeah do what the other's suggested and get your voice recorder, MP3 and record him the next time he's there. There is really no way you can get him to speak clearer. I would say since he has already come back twice and that you asked him a special question, that it is probably very important on what he wants to tell you. If possible when he says it the first time, ask him to say it again. Then plug that recorder into your pc along with one of the freeware programs and pick away/clean it till you can understand what he is saying.
There is a wonderful website by a fellow Unexplained Mysteries member that is very detailed on what EVP programs are out there. It's a place where you can download the free ones, and even detailed tutorials on how to use the EVP programs.
You will have to setup a username and psswrd, but it's free. . . This is one of my new favorite websites. . . .I wish I had found it when I was just starting and had to figure it out on my own. But it is still valuable and has taught me a thing or two . . .

Maybe he doesn't think you need to know the answer? I don't know all the ghosts i've seen haven't spoke. But have you tried asking him if he could speak clearer? Next time you see him tell him to speak a bit clearer then ask him while recording. -shrug- worth a shot.

Have you considered asking him to visit you in your dreams instead? There could be a number of reasons why you can't understand him at this time, maybe the mumbling is telling you something in itself.

Also, why not try communicatin in feelings? When he is around try to tune into him, what he's feeling..

Even though you are young, I think it wouldn't hurt to type your words correctly so everyone can read it better

As for your apparition, you should get a tape recorder, those things come in handy when your hearing spirits and stuff. EVP programs are available for PCs too, as others have said, but usually spirits will stay around for unfinished business.
