See, not only are these comics unoriginal and, from a technical stand point, not your own creations, but they also look terrible.

Walken, must you suck the fun out of something made just for that very thing you are sucking out? It's just something to do for people who don't know how to do rendering, use photoshop, or just want to do something that doesn't involve putting hours of work into. It's a quick thing to do. Yeah, I can make my own comics but something you want to do something quick and funny to show other people.

I'm not sucking the fun out of anything - Just saying it isn't hard to make actual comics and certainly doesn't require hours of time. Take 'Dilbert'? Scott Adams said in an interview it takes him rougthly twenty minutes to finish a normal sized strip.

Well I think it's a cool site, may not be all that fancy or original . . but it promotes creativity and creative thinking.

All I'm saying is that, if you're that interested in making comics, you could actually make your own in no time at all. In no way am I acting smug, however much my, frankly, prodigious command of the english language makes it appear so.

Not an arguement, just a suggestion. If I can make a pseudo-successful comic then anyone can.

Sorry buddy - We're not all living in a pre-adolesence world of make believe. You've got to understand, what I said was perfectly polite and reasonable. If someone else takes it the wrong way, that is in no way my problem

Walken, no one is going to do make a comic to your standards, just to please you. That site is a great tool for making strips that are easy, yet still fun.

And after viewing your "pseudo-successful" comic, I really don't see what all the fuss is about.

This has nothing to do with my comic, someone else bought it up - Not me.

I'm not demanding anything of anyone; Once again, someone is reading a post and automatically assuming my tone. Unfortunatley for this person, they have such unearthly poor judgement that they have landed way off.

What did I say? I merely started that this comic discouraged people to actually make a REAL comic. It's not hard, and more people should do it.

Oh, and please don't bring this down to insults against my own work. Plus, my stat-tracker tells me you visited the site three minutes ago. As that post was not much more than five minutes ago, I doubt you looked real hard.

To be completly honest, I didn't give a hard look. But, it looked far to bad for me to continue to look at previous comics...but, we shall leave this for the chat.

It starts tomorrow evening; Then I'll kid pre-teens that they're special. For now, it's regular viewing.

I think people should get back on topic, and get off the issue of walkens comic.

As for saying people should go and make thier own comic, well if people want to they will... so just drop the whole coversation and get back to what this thread was designed for.
