For the missing time story, it all happened about a year ago around April. I was feeling pretty paranoid that night, so my brother said that it would be alright to "camp out" in his room and make my own little bed on the floor at the foot of his, and I did. That did help me get to sleep a lot faster. I fell asleep pretty quickly, until around 3 a.m. when I woke up abruptly with a jolt. I felt disoriented and unsure of what had just happened. I hadn't had a bad dream or anything. So I looked up at the clock, it was roughly 3:02ish in the morning. I shook my head and sat there, because once I wake up I do not fall back asleep so quickly. An instant later, I heard the weirdest noise that's ever come across my ears, I can't even begin to describe it. It was somewhere between a metallic noise of a sort and Gahh. I couldn't even begin to identify it to yah. But it frightened me so I shouted out my brother's name as loudly as I could. At the front of his room, around the same time that I heard the noise, I saw a ball of light, sky blue in colour. I could not identify it, I could only feel the fear pressing up in my chest. So I got on his bed and started shaking him, kicking him, screaming in his ear, doing whatever I could to wake him up and get his attention. Now, my brother's a bit of a deep sleeper but NO ONE would be able to sleep through all of the commotion I was bringing about. There were bruises on his leg the next day from where I had kicked him in an attempt to wake him up. It had felt as though 5 minutes had past, and I would know for a fact that it couldn't have been more than 15 minutes of my attempting to wake him, because I would glance at the clock every now and then to keep an eye on it.
Finally, he woke up after much effort on my part. The clock read 4:30 a.m., when I had only been on his bed briefly. About an hour and a half elapsed time had passed. I tried to explain it all to him. He told me that he could remember hearing my outbursts early on, but everytime he tried to open his eyes to see what was wrong he couldn't. He just physically couldn't. He felt bad after seeing how shooken up I was and apologized for not being able to help me at the time.
I didn't know what to say. I just know that what happened on that night was definitely out of the norm. To this day I'm still at a loss of words for what that whole situation could have been.
Anyone else ever experienced this also? And have a clear if not vivid memory as to what happened? Thanks for taking the time to read all of this. It means a lot.
