If you have the HISTORY channel, you can learn about it a bit on this upcoming show:

Deep Sea UFOs.
Airs on Tuesday, April 18 at 12:00am ET

Join us for a detailed examination of the little-known phenomenon of USOs, or "Unidentified Submerged Objects", an advanced type of UFO that can operate just as efficiently in water as in the atmosphere. These supposed otherworldly vessels have been reported, some believe, as far back as ancient Egypt. Others believe that USOs were reported by Alexander the Great and Christopher Columbus, and might even involve the lost city of Atlantis. Highlights include the 1967 "Shag Harbour Incident", a government-documented USO crash off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada, and a trip to the area around Laguna Cartegena in Puerto Rico, a reported hotbed of USO activity. Interviewees include the US Navy's Bruce Maccabee, UCLA's Kathryn Morgan, as well as USO and UFO experts Stanton Friedman, Bill Birnes, and Preston Dennett. TVPG

Wow, you like coming up with some far out theories don't you. One headline and we are away.

How does this make sense? Less witnesses, increased pressures and a far more difficult environment coupled with no landing facilities (unless the aliens in these usos are mermaids and fish people).

Why wouldn't they just go to Dulce and Area 51? They are secure? Catch the Mach train, check out the sights. See the other facilites, happy snaps..,..... wacko.gif

A caveat: when you watch the History Channel do so with the understanding that history is not always represented on that channel and they make up a lot of what they claim is history. They'll present anything under the umbrealla of "history" without specifying that history is all that is remembered of the past as preserved in writing. So, for USOs what you are going to hear from the various personalities is not really going to be dependent upon history but more of hearsay.

I've also heard that we know about the surface of the moon than what's beneath the ocean.
