This is my first topic ever, so I hope it turns out well.

Alexander Mitchell, a fifty-year-old bricklayer from king's lynn in norfolk literally laughed himself to death. During an episode of the BBC comedy series 'The Goodies', Mr Mitchell laughed solidly for 25 minutes at a particular scene in which two men beat each other with large black puddings. He then slumped over, dead from heart failure. Doctors attributed the death to the fact that Mr Mitchell was laughing strenuously after a heavy meal. Mr Mitchells widow, Nessie, commented: 'I can still hear him laughing and its a lovely remembrance. I shall write to the Goodies and thank them for making his last moments so happy.' - The Times tongue.gif

When I die, I want to go quietly and peacefully, in my sleep like my Grandfather, not panicking and screaming like his passengersuser posted image...

But seriously, his widow is going to thank the show 'The Goodies' for making his last moments happy? Sounds to me like she's happy he's gone, maybe she pumped laughing gas into the room somehow...... blink.gif

He must have been a rather sad character to find 'The Goodies' funny enough to laugh at for so long.....

I watched it when it first shown in the UK in the '70's, it was pretty rubbish then sleepy.gif

There are three ways I would like to go-

1. Laughing (not like this dude, I mean like making light of the situation to where it is humorous)
2. Having fun
3. Having *cough cough*
