I was wondering what topics I should base the next few crosswords on. Maybe some of you could give me a few examples. I've ran out of topics and wordlists. Any ideas are welcome.

If anyone else wants to do the crossword I could send them a link to the program, or mail the files to them. It is a very simple program.

I have an idea. How about making a crossword puzzle that occasionally goes outside of the diagram and when you take the letters that extend out of the diagram they spell a related word when descrambled.
Sort of like this: puzzle based on the cosmos.
clue #1 across - 7th brightest star. There would be only 4 blocks to enter letters so the name Rigel would be placed in the answer grid "igel" with the R staying outside. That R plus other left out letters, lets say an A, an S and a T would be arranged into the word "STAR".
The reason I suggest this type of puzzle is that it can be made from easier clues and answers because there would be the additional challenge of figuring out which words go beyond the grid and which end of the word goes beyond.

Thanks for your reply J6p. I like your idea, although I wish I had a program for that specific idea. I have made another crossword, I found a good wordlist online somewhere. I will try to use your idea with the next crossword, maybe I can come up with something real cool.
