We've talked often of the existence of god. However what about those attributes of morality that are allegedly defined in the name of that ideal? Love. Faith. What is love? One can not touch it, taste it, see it as a thing of it's own being in this world. It's a feeling we are told that means something specifically. And that specifically is unique to each person in every culture. It's like Faith, in anything one can not identify as tangible and as such is in fact, as a presence in our conscious observation of our world.

One does not have faith there are cars. One has but to look and see a viable object called a car to know there are cars in this world. And that is only so because someone decided that word defined that thing, which means something by definition. Car. Fuel injected transportation. It's specifically unique and absolute. One would not look at a Mazda and call it a Camel. That's absurd. But why? Because camels don't look like that!?

Give it a name and take the first step as creator god.

My universe looks like this and I believe in the names held most dear to tell me what I'm doing here.

So what's your world look like!?

What is love, in your understanding!? What's it mean?

What is faith, to you?

What's in a name?!

Only the power to make us believe all we label is real enough to commit our mind to believing for a fact there can be nothing else. Thus when we meet others who believe in something else which isn't how we see it, things get really strange.... wacko.gif

Think about say the wind. We can't see it but we know that it exists because we can see the effect that it has our our surroundings and we can feel it on our skin.

Just because we cannot see something does not mean that it does not exist. We can see that it may exist because we can feel the effect it has on us and we can see how it effects others.

Love is eternal unlimited and free, love is sufficent unto itself it needs nothing to complete itself, because it is all things.... grin2.gif just as life the point is to decide what it means to you, then experince it see how it works for you go from there IMO anyways......

Well said Wolfssd, That is a good example but it seems it would be impossible to prove or make anyone believe in love or The Lord unless they have felt the influence of either one of them.
