I'm not sure I could force myself to listen to emo. I recall seeing a wannabe like rap band playing with The Answer (Can't remember they're name) but they were just dire!! Possibly called Just a Word?

My friends brothers band, 'Article'.

They were so unorganised and out of time, it was just one big noise. They covered a Ramones song, and it took me until the next day to realise what it was supposed to be.

I went to see Modest Mouse a while back up in Portland, there were two bands before them, one was local, called Menomena, they were cool, I had seen them before. The other band was from Chicago or something, absolutely terrible, I can't even remember their name, but they wer bad man, the guy just screamed his lyrics with a synthesizer in the background, and he was fat and refused to leave his beer off stage, yeah, that was depressing, and people clapped when he would finish a song because they thought he was leaving, then he would start another song and everyone would get pissed off and yell, fun night, Modest Mouse and Menomena were awesome, they weren't
