I can't say that I know a whole lot about Art Bell, I do listen to Coast to Coast often, but when his wife died I was very saddened at his loss. His wife passed in I believe January unexpectedly. Then last night he says hes gone to the Phillippenes and remarried. I just wondered what if anything anyone who is a fan of the show thinks about the latest developement?

I thought it was a little sudden. I can honestly say that I know of a few older men who have remarried, or began dating just as quick. But I still have a funny feeling about it. I love Coast to Coast AM, and this is leaving an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. George Noory said a while back that this was a part of somthing deeper ( refering to bell's absence). But then again, it just may be that he really fell in love. hmm.gif

You beat me to the punch! I was going to post this revelation today as well. Not only was I surprised that Art had gotten remarried. I was doubly surprised when he stated that he is moving to the Phillipines to be with his new wife. Essentially, he will be broadcasting from Manilla.

stacy274, I concur, Mr. Bell's marriage was very sudden. However, he indicated that he consulted with his wife, Ramona, and he said that his deceased wife was okay with this. Personally, I would like to wish Art the best of luck in his new endeavor; and regardless where his show is broadcasted from...I will still be there listening to him.

Sometimes when you lose someone you deeply care for, someone who has been your life partner for a very long time, that loneliness can be so devastating you look to "fill" the void. Just a thought..... hmm.gif
Isa
WOW! That's a shocker! I'm speechless. Long time coast to coast listener, either way I wish him all the best.
jobot37
I didn't expect it this soon after Ramona passed, but I suppose he might not have either, I wish Art and Airyn the best of luck.

P.S. they have wedding photos on the site, very cool

I paid for StreamLink so I have it for 6 months. Although I have not listened in about 2 months. Makes no sence I know, but I had no clue he was going to or did remarry. Can someone fill me in on the info...
jobot37
Well, Art's been acting kinda cryptic for a bit now, I thought he was gonna do something awesome like take over C2C on weeknights again. First I ever heard about this was on Saturday, all I heard was in essence "Hey! Guess what? Art's married again! and guess what else! He's moving to the Phillipines and quiting KNYE and giving away the cats! But he'll still do Coast on the weekends" I was struck speechless, still don't exactly know what to think of it all, I think Art's decision to move and quit the radio station may be mistakes, but oh well, it's his life, man.
FLY SPITTA
wow I went to the Coast to Coast forum that's available with streamlink they said basically the same as you... I think Art's is bein a bit weird now lol Many people seem to agree too.
stacy274
It is starting to to give some of Art's die hard fans the willys ( me included)! Everyone is hoping that he was just grief stricken and not thinking clearly...we'll see. unsure.gif

That is just too odd for my taste...kind of sick to think that he went and got married so soon... it isn't right...I always thought he was a bit strange, but this is over the top.

How did Art's wife die... What was the cause of death?

Just googled it and it said it is unconfirmed her cause of death....

Does anyone think Art could have popped her off so he could marry his new love?
curiousonealsometoo
I was advised to move this over here....

Everyone in these forums...not just here but all over the web...seem to be "pussy footing" around the fact that Art Bells wife died, he remarried 4 months later and left the country....
Now if this was anyone else what possibilities would come to mind????
Is this the same dead brain outlook that sits and watches a oil man become leader of a country, attack an oil rich country and have oil/gas prices increase to the max and everyone just sits there going "oh..gee..what could the problem be!!!??...
WAKE UP!!!...either Art Bell could not handle his dear..so dear they were not apart one moment and loved the cats he gave away wife's death and went insane, flipped out and took off....or
possibly, since they were alone in the desert...his wife died in another way....can they bring you back from SouthEast Asia?.....

don't be afraid....say what you think......it's not totally Nazi-land yet....

No she's been sick before she died I believe.....
Now why would he kill her...
I'm sure he has a good amount of money he could simple divorce her
if he wanted to and be on his way.
joc
Who the hell is Art Bell? Never mind...I'll try a google search if I really care....

Edit: well that didn't take too long....I have never heard of him...he looks like a wife murder though...just my opinion based on nothing more than his picture...

what in the name of gods holy wrinkled sphincter are you talking about? one quite insignificant person dies ( this is not meant in an offensive way, but she clearly wasnt going to alter history.) and you bwelieve theres going to be a fascist take over? you wake up, and actually get to know what politics is about, your president isnt a fascist, nor will he become one... hes just a little stupid is all. and seriously, what are you talking about, you start one sentence and then babble on about something else. speak clearly or dont speak at all.

You wnat to know the truth about what's going on? http://www.nworeport.com
crouton
He gave away his CATS? He's clearly not thinking rationally. I could never, in a million years, give away my cats. They are my family.

i already know the truth. conspiracy theorists psyches such as yourself should lay off the crack before bedtime.

P.S. that doesnt answer my question in the slightest.
MK ULTRA
Good luck to the guy.Who are we to judge.
None of us know Art personally so we have no real right to have any opinion of his actions, imo.
He just seems to be an open minded guy,all this talk of him working as a shill for the NWO may or may not be true but it kinda stinks and creates a hoopla of sensationalism about him and his private life.

(personally,it took me 4 years,23 days,7 hours and 6 minutes to get over splitting up with my ex-girlfriend,but thats the kind of guy i am. hmm.gif ) the evil devilwoman. devil.gif I hope she burns in hell!!!!!!!!! angry.gif

If anythings strange about it it might be becuase someone is after him and did his wife in. Just like the episode with his son being molested by a teacher at the Boarding school.

Thats probably why he moved to get away from it.

And no, your right it's not Nazi land yet... it's far left communist dictatorship land in America right now.

At first I too thought it was wierd...a little tasteless even. But as time wears on, I am reminded of the time when my grandmother died. Her death was not suspicious, as it was cancer and the whole family was there. My grandad started drinking and going to bars with his brother...would never have even thought about that when she was alive, He quit eating and wthin three months had a bar tramp move in with him. He was so lonely, so distraught over my grandmother's death ( he also worshipped my grandmother..we all did) That he just simply couldn't be alone. The bar tramp turned out to be a very nice person, just not exactly the brightest bulb in the lamp. It didn't last a year. Point: these men were both lonely, and knew without companionship they would literally waste away. I do buy alot of conspiracy theories, but not this one. Could we drop this now it's been over six months.

It does seem strange, but then Art has been rather strange for a long time... and more recently he's been strange even according to the strange.

I haven't been likeing any of his interviews lately either. He's still got his magic imo, but his guests and such that he chooses are not the same fiber as in the past. George still gets some of those fiber on that Art Used to have... but to me George is no Art.

Have been a subscriber for years, still am, but I don't post on their forums anymore. I need something archiveable, some place they don't erase what was said... Offhand comments that make little sense two years ago can suddenly become relevant and give great insight, and the coasttocoastam.com doesn't support that.

Sometimes I still get goosebumps when I hear Art Bell say:

"Wanna take a ride?"
gone
You do have me there. I also no longer post on the forums. I do think that George has been getting better with time.

I know everyone is different, but being a widow I can't imagine anyone being able to remarry after such a short time. Have seen it happen, and not one survived past two years. I do wish anyone in this type of situation the best.

His wife was asthmatic, and he smoked, I think...

He is just rich and eccentric. Americans marry Phillipinas for subserviance. He will keep his assets in a seperate account, and-

"The Philippines: Divorce is prohibited. However, Article 36 of the Family Code provides that a marriage can be voided if one of the contracting parties is psychologically incapacitated to perform the essential marital obligations, even if this incapacity surfaces only after the marriage is contracted. A divorce decree obtained in another country, on the initiative of a Philippine citizen, is not recognized or considered valid in the Philippines. On the other hand, the Family Code provides that an alien spouse may procure a divorce outside the Philippines, which will be recognized in the Philippines."
cindymars
blink.gif That is certainly peculiar. Sounds like he went and bought a wife in the Phillipines. Wonder how old she is? I heard his wife died from Asthma.

What's that? What do you mean by "subserviance"?
shun
Why do some american men get on a plane, go to the Phillipines, and look for a wife?
They want a more "traditional" relationship, less self-assertiveness from their partner.
That is what I have heard.

One problem with these marriages is it is kind of an industry, and rife with abuse. It is a financial risk, and some guys get their assets cleaned by scam artists who get a greencard, a divorce, and move on.
cindymars

I agree......subserviance, I was thinking the same.

Wow.... I am just catching up on the Art Bell news! w00t.gif

Some things make sense and others don't.......can't believe he gave up his cats.....he gushed over them like they were his "babies". To suddenly give up your animals....harsh....and seems a little heartless. But that's from looking from the outside while he is looking from the inside of things. rofl.gif

When someone looses his mate especially if they have been together for a long time....it is devestating for the one left behind. I have seen so many men lose it.....and end up with someone so out in left field the relationship soon ends down the road. I think men are much more lonely than women and need some one to fill that gap. I don't see that with most women....many never date or remarry. When they go out it is only with friends.

I feel sorry for him.....he seems like a lost soul. no.gif
