A friend and I went to an outing today and we decided to take some random pictures. Here is what we got from one of the photos. I think it's from the camera. because this was taken in the car with the window rolled down as we were slowly driving past. I think it's a mere light glitch or possibly a bug. Am I right?

Here it is a bit enhanced. I had to make it smaller because the forum won't let me add another photo of equal size because it takes too much space apparently.

Hmm not sure about where you live but I know that when my husband and I went for a drive the other night, lightening bugs were out thick...that would be my guess...
I live in Maryland. As far as I know there were no lightening bugs out *shrug*

Looks similar to fire-flys although they (at least where I live) have yellowish lights. Could be anything I guess, maybe the flash from the camera?

That's what I think as well. Though my friend refuses to accept it.

Yeah, although all the pictures I have taken with a flash in front of a window have made a large area of light going out in beams. Could be an exception - or not a very strong flash?

I think that's exactly it. The fact that the flash on the camera we used was not strong at all. TOPIC CLOSED.

Such simple things can cause all this crazyness

Some would have called it a UFO and made a huge hype about it.
I believe some of these things are possible but I use common sense first to try and figure it out. Not bashing anyone just so you know

I know. I just had to show her that others agree that it's not anything paranormal

Sounds plausible to me.

so was this taken through a window?
perhaps a large smudge on the lens with somthing reflective in the bushes bouncing back blurring the light reflection a little.
it could be somthing in the air like a moth, you just cant pick out any details as the flash washed it out completely.
its an odd one though

Probally its a small bug, or dust? Although I dont see any other dust particles. So its probally a bug or something else.

Its too big to be a bug or fire fly cause they make small dots, it is most likely a camera problem or like a plastic wrap that was moving during the time the picture wass taken.
