Hmm, i have never had it. I know its mentioned in the bible, the Israelites were leaving Ancient Egypt, they had no time to wait until their bread rose, so they baked it before it had a chance to rise, and the result was matzo (Exodus 12:39).

sounds good though mmm. tongue.gif

Celebrated Easter with the family and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Then took an outing and almost ended up in Canada, but turned around at the border. All in all, it was a great day!

Where did Ostara come from. What nation created it?
sam
its a pagan celebration and its where the christians stole the idea of easter from. we normally celebrate it on 21st march!
Kaknelson
It's more commercialized than ever, Easter is the traditional Easter Bunny/ Chocolate ideology out here in the west. i don't know about you theory there sam. No disrespect although.
sam
well i guess you wouldn't if you don't know anything about paganism, its more european than anything so i guess you wouldn't!

Matzah is actulay close to flavorless. If you do try it it goes really well with butter!

Well, we go to my hubby's mom's house the Sat. before Easter, let the kids hunt eggs then stuff ourselves with delicious food everyone has prepared. Then on Easter Sun. we go to church, come home and go to my mom's house and have an adult AND child egg hunt, then stuff ourselves again w/delicious food. It's no wonder I have to watch what I eat for the next week or so after the holidays! laugh.gif
