It's mentioned on lists of fav animes by people throughout. Anime isn't really a big topic on this site, and threads devoted to individual titles don't tend to get a lot of replies, so if you want to talk about an anime the best place to find people who will discuss it is the Anime News Thread since its the only anime thread which has lasted as long as it has.
