I've just learnt from my lecturer that she doesn't believe that man had ever stepped on the moon. The reason being direct heating from the sun due to the lack of an atmoshere to protect the suface, unlike the earth. This direct heating would make it impossible for any man, even with their protective suits on to set foot on the moon.
How true is it?
