I was at my school,and i don't know if its evp or if my phone is just screwing up but,i was in the boys washroom,by myself,and i decided to record(i wasn't peein or anything)and during the recording,there was no noise,not by me,i was the only one in the washroom,my microphone on my phone can't pick up backround noises that well,so i was just wondering what you guys think,i would put them on here but i don't know how

Sounds interesting, however, you gotta remember that a lot of the "noises" that people tend to hear, are really components within the recording device itself...

First of all, what did you actually record? You never actually said.

Secondly, we'd need to know what kind of phone it was to have any remote clue about uploading audio from it.

i have a motorola cellphone,well,in the recording,i say say something into the picrophone,its silent,and then something screams,says something,i don't know what,and then it screams some more,but it sounds like there is more than one becasue the scremas overlap each other,and then the pa system comes on at the end which is a high pitch like,squeal at the end,everything in between is not me

don't you have a cable that connects your phone to the computer through a usb cable?

I have an idea....why don't you take your phone to a recording studio....they can then record whatever you are hearing and put it on a CD...then you could sell it on ebay...

Yeah, try recording it to your computer using the sound recorder, and then upload it on here. i'd love to hear it, the way you described it it sounded creepy.

Record it to the computer however you want. I suggest the free software Audacity, if you don't already have a method. You can then upload it to Putfile for all to hear.

i was the only one in that washroom,at the end,theres this high pitch like squeal noise,but thats when the morning announcments came on,the moring announcements were'nt playing during the recording(you'll have to turn it up quite a bit to hear it clearly)

what do you guys think?

nope,i tested it out along with the backround noise,both tests were not loud enough to be that close the my phone,i had it pointed towards the handicap washroom which is in the far corner,the pipe and other noises like that were not loud enough either

Any urban legends or stories of hauntings at your school? also, were there any other kinds of electronics nearby that could have been causing interference?

no electronics,just me and my phone,a teacher died in the school gym,and i heard a little girl choked and died before they could get her to the hospital,theres also this story i've heard,back in grade 2,some of my classmates were playing hide and seek around the school because the class had a sleepover,well anyways,and my friend jordan was standing in front of the bootroom,and all of a sudden,all of the bootracks fell at the same time,jordan and a bunch of other students witnessed it

Creepy. Frankly, I wasn't expecting you to ever post it. It sounded a lot like my experiences with EVP...very odd. I can't offer up any explanations though, without having seen the area this was recorded in.

You should try taking some pictures of the bathroom, at night if possible. see if anything creepy turns up on them. How old is the school?

The voice was coming from a mini recorder that you recorded then you played it
to record on your camera.

Regardless of what it is it sounded really creepy. I enjoyed listening to it.

i don't have a camera phone,i'll try to take some pictures though but i gotta find a digi camera first,the school is about 15 years old,made the same year i was,i am confused about the whole mini recorder camera scenario,i have others but that one was the best one so i posted that one

Yea, it's creepy. Beyond that I have no clue other than EVP.

The other ever present possibility is a hoax, but you can rule this out since you made the recording.

I'm not neccessarily accusing Juno of hoaxing, it's just my nature to disbelieve such things. There may be details of the recording process he failed to mention to us, for instance. Or maybe it's completely faked.

The reason I have suspicion is the fact that 1) the "voices" are so clear; Much clearer than I have ever heard in EVP. 2) Juno does seem awfully anxious for replies...

You can actually hear the clicking sound of the play button.
And it's a very short recording...at least if you want to capture something
you have to make it longer.
And the funny thing is...it seems he knows where it ends when he said,
"and that's it"

Not saying that I neccessarily believe the clip is real, but I think your points are ill-conceived. First of all, the click could be anything. Low quality audio is always full of clicks and pops.

Secondly, and correct me if I'm wrong, you seem to be saying he recorded it to tape, then to his phone, and then to the computer? If he was going through all that, wouldn't he just record directly to the computer?

Thirdly, he mentioned that this was just the best of several clips, presumably taken over a longer duration.

Lastly, of course he knows where it ends. He's recording from the phone to the computer. He introduces himself on the computer mic, holds up the phone until it's done playing, and then speaks back into the computer mic. It's not rocket science, you know.

but ever since i recorded that thing in my room,i deleated it now,i've been having weird things happen to me,like,right now,for some strange reason,i have a weird mark on my chest,i just realised it was there like 10 minutes ago,i was looking at it and my sister walked in and shes like,holy sh** whats that,it looks like a cross,so i was like,uuuuhh,i am not making this up,i don't know if the two things are related in anyway shape or form but i know that weird stuff has been happening to me more often now

it doesn't hurt,its kinda like a scratch,it doesn't hurt though,its kinda like its beneath my skin,cause i can't feel it when i touch it

interesting i've woken up with weird marks before and have ALOT of EVP as well yes seriously i hear that after years of experience doing it you can hear the low voices etc coming from the tape p.s those voices sound really mad and angry at either you recording them/being there or something that happened to them oh also they are all male (one possibly could be female but i doubt it im hearing guys)
