Hello, I'm new here so please bare with me.

K, last year when I was in LA our teacher gave us an assignment to do a documentary on ANYTHING we wanted to. So my group picked the paranormal.

So we live around a small town, nothing much to see, nothing much that brings out scariness. So we take a road tour. Bam! My friend points out that her uncle used to own a hog barn that had burned down five years ago. Only a ten minute drive. Sweet deal I'd say.

Anyways we get to this hog barn. Pretty creepy place I'd say. As you walk in the hair on your neck rise and then you feel the urge to panic or hyperventilate, or simply like my other friends, run the opposite direction from the barn.

Shadows clung to various parts of the hall. There are six rooms. Four doors that lead to one room, and the other ones are single rooms. Then, we find our home base. The place we filmed it all.

But how preculiar, a door at the back, looks like a door that could lead to a deep freezer. However if you peek in the tiny window which is covered in dust and cob webs you can see that it was just another room like the others. But you can't open it. It's stuck. No matter how hard you pull, wedge objects into the cracks, you cannot get this door to open. Now I just figured out the other day (my friend and I went there yesterday) and found that the window in the back had been broken into. So I take a look in it and it is pretty creepy.

Eerie as it already seems, the one thing that had fascinated me is the door to the pump at the very end of the hallway, directly in front of you when you walk down the hall. Every second day its opened. Every other day, its closed. My friend tried to open it the other day and it was bloody hard!

The creepy tales I am going to outline:

- Six rooms, seven spirits
- Leaders, QTS
- Evil lurks (ouija board said)
- A little girl with black hair (I know it sounds like the Ring)
- our cameras tried to focus on things that weren't there. So some of our actual footage, was blurry.
- violent activity as opposed to dragging chairs away from members and trying to drag them somewhere else, or slamming you into a wall
- spirit had possessed (not really possessed) medium so to speak to us
- british boy 17 years old he had claimed
- They wouldn't touch me, (he simply refused yet had harrassed me but was too cowardly to try anything yet bothered my other friends)
- Felt heavy pressure on shoulder blades
- played board in first room, heard a noise, ignored it and found out that a piece of 2x4 had been placed in front of door. A nother piece was three feet away. However when I had journeyed there, the second piece of wood was gone
- A chair that for some reason found its way into the barn and eerily sits in the corner underneath the window
- Six spirits want to help, the other wants to kill

And according to the ouija board, Satin is in town and Levis is coming. Do you guys know who Levis is? I know he is from the bible I accidently came across his name flipping through pages.

How ironic?

A simple thought can cause a person to over react in that type of situation.

Again, most of those accounts seem to be simple tricks of the mind. You're in a creepy place, and in choosing a paranormal theme for your assignment, will make a lot of things stick out.

Also, your mind can easily trick you into believing that it's 'possessed'. It all has to do with the area.

All I'm doing is offering suggestions...but, why a hog barn?
Seriously.
Why in the world would so many human spirits be located in a... hog barn.

One last thing, try not to declare a place haunted without evidence that cannot be proven. From what I've read so far, you can dismiss a lot of these claims based on what you're mind is looking for.

Why a hog barn?

You whoo! Think about it. A land that we don't know about this barn has been built on. For all we know there could be anything buried underneath. A place that has been abandonned for five years. It could be a prison for earth bound spirits. maybe a complete peaceful resort they had found.

We have no proof of their existence,
yet we have no proof that they don't exist.

And I know the mind is a powerful thing, but I listen to my heart (lol sounds corny) but your heart is the one that knows the most. Not your mind.

people analyze things way too much. we look for big signs that tell us the obvious things like for instance, a chair flying or something moving. Humans are incredibly stupid to such small hints. a small hint could be the camera going blurry everytime you ask if someone is in the room and there is nothing in front of your camera.

How can you claim a house to be haunted when you get proof? Every proof of existence is casted away unto hoax. You see, that's why the spiritual world is so complex. Things happen off of camera cause THEY knew that if they are revealed to the world of light, the balance that they are trying so hard to corrupt will be further more put back to place. Demonic forces want the world to be unknown, that's why the fear grips us so hard. If we get scared, we don't do it anymore. So their world is safe. We shut off that brain that opens their world up to us.

So who knows? Maybe it is... maybe its not. That's why further more testing will be in operation this and next month.

And every grave site is supposed to deem a place haunted...?

But your heart can make just as many inaccurate assumptions.

It's a good thing to do, and it's the only way to explain something as well. If you're not going to analyze something with logic, then go watch an old horror movie...

It isn't the proof that we're looking for, it's what can't be proven. If you find something that can't be dismissed through a thorough examination, sure, someone's going to come up with some type of explanation. Whether it was faked, or whatever.
But here you're looking for how it could have been caused, aside from hoaxing. Calling something a fake should be a last resort, unless it's that obvious.

But how do we know Logic shows us the truth? We analyze so much that the pieces that make the picture can actually be false assumptions. We think we know so much when actually we know so little.

Even the smallest doubt in our minds can blind our eyes from the truth. That's why everything is so complex. Cause society brainwashes us whether we admit it or not. That's why nothing can be solved with this kind of topic. Cause it just gets fustrating.

Ok yes I appreciated your opinions here, (thank you) but you see, something like this will never be won. There are many sides to every story, meaning more then one prespective. That's why usually nothing can actually be solved. Nothing can be solved without confirming it and something like this will never be confirmed because everyone has different views of what is going on. Oh man I am in such a small rant that I'm beginning to lose train of thought and going in circles.

There is so much that we don't know about, so much we aren't supposed to know about and things we'll never know about. Just because you always hear houses, and cemetaries and even barns haunted doensn't mean those are the only things that are haunted. Some things are explained in houses, barns and even cemetaries but, there is always an odd ball. Something has to start somewhere. And around here, there are also turkey barns "known to be" haunted.

The only thing here that we're going to acheive are people defending our sides, different perspectives, rumors. Nothing will be solved on this topic. I'm sorry that It got blown out of proportion but i'm tired and I believe... that this barn is haunted. I could be wrong, I could be right. I say its haunted cause I believe its haunted. Until I prove myself wrong, this case will be left... unsolved.

Do you realize what you're saying? You're questioning science and reason.

Yes, I agree it does. Wear an aluminum helmet, it helps.
However, you can choose whether or not you want to accept this direction in life. You can choose to go with what society wants, or you can go your own way.

My pleasure, but I have to say that I feel not all of them were welcomed. Again, I'll agree, this subject can not be proved or disproved so therefore it is open to debate. thumbsup.gif

True, true. Nothing will be solved for the lack of evidence, perhaps if you supplied us with film/recordings it would be easier. Personal experiences account for nothing when you have no evidence to back it up.
And, it's okay to believe. You can go on believing, despite what others want to think. That's what makes you an individual. wink2.gif

Levis could signify that the company is planning on opening a branch or plant in your area. Yay for more jobs grin2.gif

Below are some of the things you mentioned.... You must have video footage of this right? .... We might be a little more helpful if you showed us some of this video.

I love the title of this thread. "Haunted Hog Barn." Every day, I give thanks for Tim Berners-Lee.

Anyway, I wouldn't go looking for paranormal activity where none has been reported, especially not with stuff like ouija boards. Because if discorporate entities exist, one way of attracting their attention is probably to go calling for them, and I'm thinking the ones who answer aren't likely to be the nice ones. If the place wasn't infested before, it could be afterward.

YMMV.

About the name Levis - I dunno if it's in the bible, but I'm quite sure you'll find the name 'Levi' (close enough?) in the Old Testament.

I agree with the other poster, if you have video, share it with us. It'll make your story more believable.

Fine give me a while. the original documentary is actually at my school and everything that basically that had happened was not recorded on tape therefore can't be proven (i knew that you guys wouldn't believe) because you realise that most things that could have had scientific evidence have actually happened are always off camera. Cameras die, tapes aren't all that long. But give me a while and I will bring footage or even anything that proves that this barn could possibly haunted.

u can read a small journal entry at:
Documentary

we did seances and all we did was get the british boy who threatens to kills us and our three team mates had talked to the little girl and took them to a back room. Unfortunately the other team mate that was with me had to scare them which made them break the circle. But I will get stuff. I am determined.

I was just actually thinking. I forgot to tell you guys that the hog barn burned down five years ago. And that I just found out within the past months that the house that is beside it, is confirmed abandonned. I took pictures last night so I have to get them developed.
