I never really thought that I would ever come within feet of a monster. But my fiance and myself have, and we got a really good long look at it too. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, I even had to brake for it so I wouldn't hit it. It was the craziest thing I've ever seen, and now I see that anything is possible. We made an illustration of it and wrote out a description, does anyone know what this thing is or has anyone else seen one of these things? Our illustration is very accurate as it was in our plain sight for about 20 seconds, and it being as weird as it was, its image is forever scortched into my mind's eye.

I'm not sure what it could have been, it does look very strange
If it was all white with red/pink eyes, then its more likely an albino creature, so it's pretty rare to see an 'unexplained' animal let alone an Albino Unexplained Animal!!
Shame you didn't have a camera!

Since creature seem to be not so mobile, can't be so far from where you spotted it. Did you try to hunt it down?

Sounds like a large white rabbit whose ears were held low to its head. Rabbits can, in some cases, grow to enormous sizes, roughly on par with what you saw. The body shape and movement suggest, to me, a very large rabbit.

Sounds like a rabbit to me too. Maybe it was deformed or injured and thats why it seemed so odd?

I'll be honest, my first thought was also of some type of injured or deformed albino animal. Prehaps a large rabbit. If the shape of the head was different I would suggest a small, albino deer with injured back legs.

Interesting, I don't know the area so can't really comment on what sort of animals normally reside there.
It's great to see someone follow up their report with listed information and sketches though.

Possibly a cat.
There have been cats born with deformities, which enable them to 'hop like a rabbit' because of their misplaced hind quarters.
Also, it could have been born without the tail, or had it docked as a kitten.
All around, it could have just been a deformed kit, that grew up feral.

Got to agree with Tia
ChinaRider If the evidance points to something mundane thats alright

not everything has to be some amazing animal

It could have been some deformed animal.

very interesting, have you been back to the area to try and look for it again? it sounds like it is not a very mobile creature.

Could of been a deformity of some type, that is possible. Sometimes animals that are hit by cars, or mangled by other animals do survive. As the body heals the scars, bones can grow, and and be set improper, which might of led to it's strange way of movement. It's the only conclusion I could come to.

Sounds rather like an injured albino deer. Injured hips or lower spine would cause it to drag its hind limbs, and walk with the front ones.

It's front legs seemed much too long, they were very unproportionate for its body, and it didnt have the torso of a rabbit, like I said, it was more like a greyhound's body, also, we have rabbits, and have raised generations of rabbits, and it was like no rabbit I've ever seen, and its head was much too small to be a deer. We tried to rationalize it with the same animals you all did, but too much about it did not add up. We are sure there were no protruding ears on it, we were very close to it and our headlights were right on it. It was larger than a cat, but smaller than a large dog. When it was fully stretched out it was about three and a half feet long. We didnt go out in the woods looking for it, as its attitude towards us was unnerving. I wish that I could just say that it was a huge rabbit or some type of deformed or injured animal, but we saw it very close and in great detail, I mean, its pretty scary having seen a creature that I've never seen in any biology book or anywhere else for that matter, especially one that was not frightened by human presence.
