Hey there!
i'm new here, and just after tonight i realized that i have a gift... Yep u guessed it Empathy, I always knew i had some sort of spiritual connection to others as well as a psychic ability, i never really knew what it was exactly

But after reading an article on empathy i have finally unravelled the mystery,

I also like in another thread, a person said they could foresee death, i have dreams and thoughts (preminitions if u will) that pop in my head, and before i realize it its too late .

i've always had such a guilty consious (sorry bout the spellin but hey i'm only 16) for no reason, and if i have a bad feeling about something it tends to be correct, and sometimes even if i say something it'll come true.

I have shrugged it off alot of times but it has happened way to many times to be a coinsidence,
its just weird how if a thought pops into my head, i tell my mother and she gasps all the time, do u think perhaps its more than just being an empath?

I am a very spirtual person, i love nature and everything about it, i feel so drawn to the whole psychic seen...
please let me know if you have any ideas

a suggestion learn psionic sheilding to protect yourself against overload..
even though i my self have never experinced it I have hear that it's not a good feeling..
(i am also an empath,i'm only 15)
and if you like try meditation to it is a good way to relax after a hard day(i do that every day)
do not belive everithing what you read and do MUCH research..(it can be useful late
if you want to learn more advanced things like telekinesis)
if you want more information feel free to ask..
as for me before i came into this (paranormal) i always had a feeling to be special..
aint sure if it dies/did mean anything..

You know ppl... you cease being "special" by having these powers if every other person claims to have them too....

You do not have any proof to support your claim that you have this power. The burden of proof is not on me, its on you. What I do have, however, is numbers. There are plenty of people that make fantastic claims, yet none can prove them either, and when it comes time to prove them, they make poor excuses.

What trouble is it? There are plenty of teens and preteens here that make up having powers (or actually convince themselves they do)... they usually end up growing out of if and admitting that it was all just a fairytale by then time they're crossing over to adulthood.



No, I'd be closed minded if I refused to take into account that
1. You have no proof.
2. You are no different than all the others claiming to have powers.
3. You are a teen.
4. Many teens who claim they have powers end up admitting (when they grow older) that they didnt.



I know you dont want to hear my comments. What you want to hear is "Wow, thats amazing. You're such a special person. I'm so jealous of you. I want to be like you.", but you're not going to get those types of comments from me!

with training I think everyone can learn telekinesis..

yes proof is important but so is belief for some people it can "help them to stay alive"
but it can also get them closer to death..let's think:a cristian says if I suvive and am living a good life i will get to heaven,wich may course them not to do suicide..

Not only is it not within the guidelines that "differing opinions are not allowed", but I did not offer a differing opinion either, did I? I pointed out that theres a number of people that claim to have these powers, and from there I was called a negative person and told to go away...



Because (according to the guidelines) I have a right to be here. Some moderators, however, seem to want to follow their own rules and enforce only one set of beliefs in this subsection, when in reality this subsection is not specific to any belief.

Are you basing that judgement on my single post in this thread, or all my posts in this section?

As far as I'm aware, the guidelines of this subsection do not specify that this section is for believers only, yet I have seen perfectly valid threads moved from this subsection moved simply because they're from a nonbelievers standpoint, so pardon me if I'm a bit disgruntled over the issue.

The guidelines do not specify that this a "believers only" section, what they do specificy is that constant criticism and ridiculing of members is disallowed.

This type of rudeness should not be allowed anywhere. I am not a teen, far from it, but I AM en Empath. No I don't feel the NEED to proove it to anyone, I know it for a fact within myself.

I sense a great amount of frustration on your part, and it causes you to lash out to others, that does you no good, and it only sends out negative energy into the world and in your physical body. That's what causes diseases.

Teenagers in this world need encouragement to be unique and special, not to pretend they are like everyone else.
Tazz, keep learning, keep reading, learn shielding, be careful, cause sometimes it's easy to confuse what someone else is feeling with what you are feeling. Sometimes it complicates life, but sometimes it can come in really handy.

Well, you could get people which would record how they're feeling, and a supposed empath recording how they are feeling as well, and then checking the results to see if theres any match...

to everyone who is skeptical every thing is reall we r psychic we r a people and we'll stick together..I have telepathy,empathy and telekinese I have all my powers naturaly and where u belive or not ...If u need prof I can give to u right here...to beabilt to do any of this... u need three very important things ... 1. u'r mind 2.concentration and three the most impotant one of all is energy ..that is what makes it work ..u r not alive with out it...so some people like me and my other psychic friends hereno how to use the energy in their bodys in more then just one way nonpsychics dont use it it uses them....we psychicsuse it ..some times..we dont know how to use it and that is when we say we cant controll it...Iam 15 and I just found this sit not to long ago and I was looking because I couldent controll my abilities but now I can better... I've attempted to cooperate, yet when I do I STILL dont have access to this subsection... if I make a thread here, its always moved to the mother section. I made a topic descussing what's responsible for these abilities, but from a nonbelievers standpoint... it was moved to the mother section, even though previous topics made by believers regarding the same subject were left here...

I believe Stellar makes a valid point. I understand this section appears to be for the believers as opposed to the non believers, but rational balance must be made for any understanding of the metaphysical realm. If Chicldren are left un challenged in their assumptions of the metaphysical, grave mistake could be easily made.

The reason The US government has three main departments is for check and balances. This is meant to be a failsafe against biased opinions. If a forum goes completely unchallenged, misfact then can run rampant.

Personally, I believe in the metaphysical. However, I have been here long enough to see dangerous trends in our young people interested in the metaphysical. They seem quick to jump to any conclusion which makes them special, or, individual. I understand the need for acceptance by people in highschool from their peers. But I believe it is unhealthy for their desire for power to go completely unchallenged.

Humanity is engineered to check it's self. This is why we have two schools of thought when it comes to religion, and politics.

We MUST be skeptical of people claiming supernatural powers who have not yet mastered the english language beyond that of proper written communication.

As a practiced magician, I can, and have duplicated many videos which are claimed as evidence of telekinesis. WHile I do NOT make these videos to disprove telekinesis as a whole, I DO make them to warn people how easily they can be fooled by video combined with flowery wording.

Children, understand, please, that many of us are highly educated in the psycholigical, and we understand you needs and desires regarding power and acceptance. But deception and exageration are not the way! If you so desire, the metaphysical may be understood. But having your fabricated reality validated by another child does not make it an absolute.

There is no end of kids coming onto these forums claiming outrageous abilities. No end. And because of such, it is only reasonable and logical to be mildly skeptical of any claims of such.

Think of it from our perspective. If you ran a forum where everbody believed in telekinesis, yet you had hundereds upon hundereds of people coming onto it with so called "proof" negating telekinesis, without any real baking, wouldn't you be skeptical?

I write this messege to you not to be antagonistic, nor to defy forum rules, but to try and help every body get along together, while also learning. Understanding.

And no understanding can come about without having beliefs challenged, regardless of whether they are political, religious, or metaphysical.

I'm afraid you're preaching to the converted in regards to this subforum, as it's going to be remerged with the main metaphysics board in the very near future. Any arguement you may have about it therefore is very soon not going to matter.

The issue being addressed in this thread however is that of Stellar's refusal to co-operate when asked to stop being rude and obnoxious to people. This is hardly an unreasonable request, and we would appreciate if you would comply with it. Consider this your final warning.
