When I was about 9 or 10, i had this haunting dream that I remember vividly and it still scares me to this day. My family & I were sitting around the house waiting and expecting something bad, in my dream it's like they were hiding what was going on from me and my younger sister. After a while we heard a loud roaring noise, when we look out of the window it was a huge tornado made of fire. We were panicking and running all over the house. I ran into the bathroom which is where we have a window where we can see outside in our back yard. I looked through the window and there was this creature that looked like the Grimm Reaper riding a horse with an axe and the tornado of fire was right behind him. And then I woke up. Anybody know what a dream like that means?

Grim Reaper

To see the grim reaper in your dream, signifies the negative, rejected aspects of your personality. It represents aspects of yourself that you have repressed. Alternatively, it symbolizes death or the end of something.

Fire

Depending on the context of your dream, to see fire in your dream can symbolizes destruction, passion, desire, illumination, transformation, enlightenment, or anger. It may suggest that something old is passing and something new is entering your life. Your thoughts and views are changing. In particular, if the fire is under control or contained in one area, it is a metaphor of your own internal fire and inner transformation. It also represents your drive and motivation.

To dream of that you are being burned by fire, indicates that your temper is getting out of control. Some issue or situation is burning you up inside.

To dream that a house is on fire, indicates that you need to undergo some transformation. If you have recurring dreams of your family house on fire, then it suggests that you are still not ready for the change or that you are fighting against the change. Alternatively, it highlights passion and the love of those around you.

To dream that you put out a fire, signifies that you will overcome your obstacles in your life through much work and effort.

Wow, some dream you had. This may sound funny, but my worst dream happens when I'm dreaming, and suddenly a black hole comes out of no where and sucks my right into it.

I don't believe in dream dictionaries. I think dream symbols are very individual.
Anyway, the scariest dream I had was about a bath of blood with my mother's head in it. ph34r.gif I was very young when I dreamed this. I never dream nightmares since

You've never had a nightmare since that? That's unusual I wlays thought that everyone had nighmares often.

I personally don't have any reasonable explanation like others. But to hear of such a dream sounds villanous.

I learned to fight back in my dreams and conquor all evil. grin2.gif

But since you were only a child, that is unapplicable for you.

I have nightmares very rarely. Yes, I have had some after that one, but they aren't nightmares, they're just unpleasant dreams, but never so scary as that one was. Never "REAL devil.gif "nightmares.

Sorry for getting off-track here. Just an odd tidbit of info. Here in Hawaii, it's believed that if you go to sleep with your arms crossed over your chest, you resemble the dead, and therefore, dream bad things.

I've been sleeping normally for 10 years and I havent had a single bad dream. original.gif
