ok im watchin the Documentary on Ronald Defeo on A@E.. i guess its the first time theyve interviewed him.. i gotta couple questions...

First::: What makes this family murder so UNEXPLAINED like what makes it so big and key?? i followed this story..

Second::: He says he didnt kill his entire family on the interview but in the trial he said he was possessed and then it was the evil spirit that killed his family in his body... But in this interview it says that his sister killed the sister and the brother.. but he said he killed his parents.. SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS AND CLEAR IT UP FOR ME IM CONFUSED!!! THANX!!

I think that Ronald was hoping by saying that he was possessed by the devil that he would escape being punished (life in prison, death) for killing his family. When this did not work, he decided to blame his sister for some of the murders. Very convient for him since she is dead and can't defend herself. His family's murder wasn't so unexplained at first, it was just a horrible tragedy. Ronald was probable on drugs is why he committed these murders. It was his saying that he was possessed that caused him to commit these murders that caused some to think it was unexplained. This and what happen to the Lutz family said what happened to them after buying the house has caused many to wonder.

I watched that too. They really didn't get into the whole "demons made me do it" theory did they? Too bad.
Anyway, he's changed his story now because he can't cope with the fact that he killed his littlest sister and his two little brothers. He can rationalize killing his father and even his mother because his father was abusive and his mother didn't stop the abuse, but the children were innocent. His conscience won't let him forget that so now DeFeo is trying to trick his own conscience into believing that killing his siblings wasn't really his fault.
It's complicated, I know but that's the human mind for you! grin2.gif

Ronald DeFeo's lawyer admitted sometime later, after the trial, that he made the whole demon possession story up for a book deal. If you really want to get into the why's and how's, you should order The Day the DeFeo's Died. I do think his sister helped in the killings as well as a friend of his. There was forensic evidence on Dawn DeFeo's gown that suggested she fired the shotgun as well. There were no demons or ghosts involved in the murder. Just a dysfunctional family and the fact that Ron and Dawn DeFeo were doing drugs the night they killed their parents.

George Lutz claims to this day it was not a hoax, but this is how he makes his living. He is just another scam artist making money from someone else's tragedy, IMO.

so you really think the daughter had something to do with the killings? i thought maybe he would have killed them all? he could blame her as SAMIRWIN said because shes dead she cant back up her case its easy to blame that person if your dead... but seriously what do you think..

On that documentary i just watched with Defeo, he kept sayin has is it possible to kill 6 people in a house.. i mean damn, if you got the gun its not that hard, he makes it out to be impossible...

Lastly, who here thinks the LUTZ was a fake story? or do you believe it.. what do you guys think!!

Can this subject please go away?

I'm begging, can people simply do the research on this Phenom/hoax (depending which you believe) on their own, and trust me there is enough of it out there. Enough to spend at least a good weekend reading it all. Then once finished conducting all the research to satisfy them, come to their own conclusion on it?

Please?

I actually knew someone who lived next door to this family and said that the boy was a real nuttcase.Kept to himself and was really weird. The guy just went crazy and killed his family. End of story.

I was hoping I wasn't the only one who caught on to that.

Went back in the posts and found the picture of possibly a ghost of one of the boys murdered there. I had seen it once and then it was pulled because of Mr. Lutz's legal proceedings ( I think). Was surprised to see it after all this time. I wonder if anyone has ever had a specialist take a look at it and see if they could determine it it is real. huh.gif

Ronald Defeo is a liar! What's worse than a liar? Someone who massacres their entire family and blames the crime on one of his dead victims, his murdered sister. Dead, hmm, can NOT speak, hmm, can NOT defend themselves against this flaming imbecile--how convenient!. Only a fool would believe this crap.

[One thing I couldn't never understand though. He shot eight rounds, rifle. The boys beds were next to each other in same room, the girls only a wall apart, the parents in far adjacent room. How is it that he shot eight rounds without anyone waking up? Neighbors didn't hear anything. But, when the shots were fired during criminal investigation, they were heard clearly four blocks.]
