Do you think fake UFO photos are interesting,or do they just make you mad. I'm so intrigued with the UFO thing that I've made a few fake photos myself.

Note the similarity of this depiction of the gigantic UFO over Alaska by the Japan Airlines captain

fake ufo photos dont make me mad, but I do think they should not be made, even for fun...
see, if you post a fake ufo photo you made, letting us all know its fake, all that has to happen is someone with ill intentions takes that photo, and starts emailing it to everyone claiming it's real. now there is a bit of a mess. I just think everyone should be patient and eventually the real thing will show up and then you can ge pictures of it!!

Some are hard to tell if they are fake and when I find out they are fake, it really ticks me off. (very frustrating to say the least!) There are some very genuine pics and videos of UFO's that should not be disregarded. The crap fake ones just really tick me off and make it worse for others that might come forward and show what the have.
But I guess, in the real world - "WE have to take the bad with the good" *sigh* . but what I don't get is why the "hoaxers" waste their fricken time with making and posting a "fake" UFO. Personally, I'd like to kick 'em in the Wazoo for posting those fakes!
*just my opinionated 2 cents! *

It definitely makes me mad when people fake pictures and vids because I buy into it and it's such a letdown when you find out that it's fake. I mean what kind of loser wastes his(her) time and energy to pull one over on me, you can't even see my facial expression to see how piseed-off/disappointed I am. I think if someone makes a fake they should have the decency to print something on the bottom indicating as much. This way the picture or vid can be enjoyed as art and not contribute to clutter when it comes to those experts who are trying to sort out this phenomenon.

I love those Tridade photos from Brazil, they've yet to be debunked. They were also taken long before the days of photoshop, tough to reproduce. Old UFO photos rock!

Sky---UFO skeptic Donald Menzel tried and failed to dubunk those photos as well.

But any witness description of a 'flying saucer' could be said to be similar to another description of a 'flying saucer'; in that flying saucers have a central rim and a dome of some size above and below.
I have no gripe against people making or creating 'fake' images (its good to demonstrate what can be achieved with the technology of the period); but what does annoy me are those who attempt to pass off acknowledged fake/hoax images as real/genuine evidence.

everyone of these pictures were photoshopped. The first one is an artists rendition of a flying saucer. The 2nd one is a 3d model that was then rendered and the place into that military picture. U can tell this because it seems as if the men are standing infront of the saucer but in fact they would have been right underneath the shadows. The 3rd one is a 3d model also. nice try though great art

Sky---Yep, they are faked but it was a good job. Actually, the saucer was real but because of stability problems it was grounded.

Yep fakes are annoying because it takes away from the real search of weither ufos or anything unexplained exists, they take time and energy from the true search and damages the crediblity.. how will we ever get answers when these assholes are getting in the way-

Fakes have basically crippled any true UFO research because in human nature we ignore what we can't explain, so scientists use these thousands of fakes as evidence that they don't exist.
