virtual reality seems to be getting closer and closer

my son is 4 and when he is a teen i think it may be as common place as the XBOX

so i wondered, what game out now would you most like to play in virtual reality ?

seems so many possibilities

you could be a sports star

or a spy in a 007 or mission impossible game

what would your choice be ?

Army Men would be interesting to be in lol, would give you a whole new perspective on things

Resident Evil. That would be the coolest thing ever. Period.

Could you even being to IMAGINE Silent Hill in virtual reality? I dont think I could play it. Not unless it had two player..

Half life games would be awsome. Star Wars..

The biggest for me though, would be a WW2 game.

Too many to name. Square games, Morrowind/Oblivion, PSO.. As much fun as blood-thirsty, virus-infecting zombies sound, I just couldn't pass up venturing inside the mystical world of FF.

It would definitely be kickarse if virtual reality gaming consoles (or whatever) were to be as common as a xbox as is today in around 10 years time. although it would also probably be expensive as heck so I wouldn't be able to afford it anyways.

A world war II or I game >:)

A zombie outbreak scenario, or a medieval oriented RPG like Zelda.

Personally I`d love to be able to experience either the world of Final Fantasy or Zelda in Virtual Reality.

Silent Hill...you'd probably die of a heart attack. Metal Gear...living in a movie. The Simpsons...wander around Springfield. X-Files...be an FBI agent. I could go on...Final Fantasy!

back to the games, i would love the idea of playing Star Wars game would be great

would be great if it were totally up to the user how you turned out, sorta like KOTOR

based on your actions, helping people or killing them, you either become a Sith Lord or a Jedi

i suppose a VR game would need some sort of a drop down screen for a "do-over" ?

An MMO, I don't really care which, WoW, GW, FFXI, they would all be awesome

I think an MMO or at least a 4 player online RPG could be great. One person would be a mage, one an archer, a theif, and a swordmaster, each using their hand movements to attack.

Hmm, definitely one of the FF's. Resident Evil was the first thing that came to mind. That would be crazy. DBZ Budokai or something like that would be fun too, you get too fly around and shot things with your hands.

Most WW2 games and nearly any military game.Silent Hill would be great too, as well as the Need for Speed: Underground games.

I reckon Doom III would be awesome in VR.

Couple of racing games too, mainly NFS or burnout.

Strangely enough, the most fun I ever had with VR was with descent. Nothing like induced motion sickness to add some excitement to your game.

The true simulator of NASCAR .....Dale jr , martin Truex , and others use it to practice...I race in leagues every week....Would be cool.

You can only get it on ebay for around 115 us dollars ....Best racing sim ever.

Alrighty then... where to start...

1. Resident Evil Re-Make, Imagine all the things we could do that Jill and Chris can't (Jumping, shooting zombies in the head every time with the handgun, handling the knife better etc.) But i'm not sure what I would do against the tyrant... maybe jump on its back and hope it can't reach back and get me and then i'll stab it in the eyes with the knife.

2. Parasite Eve 2, that would be fun and at the start instead of buying new guns I would kill everyone in the area and then take all the guns, ammo, and armour. Also that part with the lady in the cafe would be cool.

3. Silent Hill 4, mostly because I have never played it but either way I think it would be fun.

4. Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Instead of killing Ganondorf I would join him and then later on stab him in the back and steal the triforce . In Majoras Mask I would just put on the feirce deities mask and run around killing everything then start over when the moon comes down. In Wind Waker I would sail past where you can normally go and explore the rest of the world... Wind Waker style

5. Super Smash Brothers Melee, to kick everyones ass.

Duke Nukem.
