They are pretty cool actually. I don't have any of their CDs, but have listened to enough songs to have an opinion. Very odd band. In a good way though.

They are an excellent band. I love all of their stuff. Definately one of the best industrial metal bands out there.

I heard this new song from them called Start A War it's pretty good.

I partyed with the lead singer and the drummer. They are pretty cool people. I had some fun. Wayne and i have some common interest.

I wouldn't really consider them metal at all, but they're one of the few bands around today that I can actually listen to. When Start a War came out last summer it didn't leave the CD player in my car until I got back to school in the fall.

How are they not metal? There's not really any other way to classify them. They are industrial metal, nothing else.

I can't say I'm a Static-X fan but, eveything theyve done so far helped me through my roughest times. They made a big difference in life. I just wish I knew what that one song was about- the mmmm 'This is not my life/This is not my home/This is not me/ I HATE THIS' song. I miss it - I haven't had it in a few years and I always wondered what it was really about.

That song's called "This Is Not" and it's off of Machine.
