This is an interesting topic as recently by a National Road Survey Company issued the road Middle Country Road in Selden Long Island NY known to many as Route 25 which runs basically East and West and is the main junction of Suffolk and Nassau County, they have named it the worst Road for most accidents in the entire U.S.

There are at least 5 - 10 accidents a day, and one death a week if not a month from all of these accidents that happen. I did some research on the history of Long Island and Long Island's History goes all the way back to the revolutionary war. In my area particularly in Selden NY, there is an old cemetery by our Fire Deaprtment that dates back to the 1800's and one time when I was younger and use to ride my bike around town saw a sign for an old Huntington Durst Cemetery in a field by an old fence behind an abandoned lot.

I'm trying to do some more research to see if this small cemetery at one time use to be large. I think they might of moved it or built on an old burial ground. Do you think with all of these car accidents happen because the are could possibly be cursed? Or is it just the worst road for accidents. It's interesting, because all you see now are burial grounds where the accidents happen all over with crosses and little memorials everywhere. I hope I can back up this story with more history. But what do you all think?

Intrestinng, I'm 2,000 miles from the route, but if its like 95, you're very right.

We have the cursed Rt. 55 here in South Jersey. They built over a tribal burial ground and Wadandaga (Carl Pierce) put a curse on it. My tribe found out later that the builders dumped the remains at another site. Now New Jersey gives us the remains for reburial on our community burial mound. The whole story is in the book 'Weird New Jersey'.

Hello Friends:

I'm not shure in my view on cursed places.
I think it may or may not bee hapening, also
I belive evrything happens for a reason.
I read once about a road in the U.S.A.(I don't
remember what road or where I read it)that
it used to be a Native American burrial grounds
and the tribe in the area try to keep the road from
been build, today terrible car accidents hapens all
the time.
So it may be some true about cursed places.
