i didnt know exactly where to post his but....
i just think coincidence's are interesting whether you run into someone or you find something out...here are 3 short things that happened to me...

1. my family and i went up to NJ to get my car (i live in MI LONG STORY!!!) and ended staying in NYC for the 4th of July, so the city is PACKED!! well we go out the 1st night and walk around a bit but then we decided to split up and meet back at the hotel. We're in manhattan mind you and there are 1,000's of people walking around. so i go my way they go their's. i just walk around looking in stores, etc. well i turn down a street heading in the general direction of the hotel. All of a sudden from behind me i hear "HEEEYYYY." i turn around, and out of ALL the people in NY that day walking around me, my family rides by me on a horse drawn carriage LOL...

2. We used to live in Memphis and my grandma, aunt cousins, etc. come down to visit. so we go out do the whole sight seeing thing. well we go to some mom and pop buffet resteraunt with the whole family. Well who do we see in thier from MI? my sisters grandparents. we didnt even know they would be down we just ran into them so both family's had dinner together...

3. I was going to the club to meet some friends in a neighboring city. Well even before i got into the city i was thinking to myself..."i wanna hear "I'm A Rider" by fabolous, that would be cool if i was listening to it while riding in front of the club." well i get to the club and as i'm riding up i turn the station...guess what song was on the radio....

hehe sh** i even saw my best friend at cedar point and i was staying in a different city for a week and hadnt talked to him and didnt even know he was going.

I've had a similar thing happen. I was going to a job interview in London, living in Blackpool (northern England and a good 200 miles away from London) at the time. Walking through Ealing, a suberb of London, I bumped into a friend who used to share a house with me. We were still in touch but had no idea the other was going to be in London, let alone that particular part of London. I saw it a sign that the move would be a good one, and that it turned out to be! wink2.gif

thats really cool, i think sometimes coincidences are just that but sometimes they are used as a metaphor or to show you something.

It was weird on the way down, the houses in a particular part looked weird - like smiling faces. It was just the way the rooves and windows were built, but they looked like big smiles. Also one of the buildings where I went for my interview had the same name as footballer who used to play for the team I support. Little things, but good signs.

I think coincidences are used to get your attention. Yuo might not know what exactly they mean at the time, but sometimes in the future they turn out to be important.

I am a firm believer that everthing happens for a reason. That's why when things like these happen, I think it is better described as a synchronicity. And over the past 5-6 years that I have been actively finding myself spiritually, I have seen alot more synchronicities in my life.

All the advents of coincidences, to me, is nothing more than the realization of the human inertia.

As most of humanity, we are in a "robotic" like state, which we get up , go to work, go home, and other things in between. This is an on going, neverending tasks which we humans go through. Most of us, with morals accepted by others, and those condemned as immoral, tend to be the outcasts

Yes, it is a coincidence that some things might happen, although you are just relating either a similar looking "look" , to an event which caught your attention. It was just "coincidence" that you happened to notice that of which already knew of. In other words, the tree might look like a brochli just because you know it is green and has similar shape.

It is coincidence that you fell down the stairs, just because. Well, you realized that there was no appearent reason for you falling down the stairs, maybe a logical explaination, but nothing supernatural, or un-ordinary. The things of which we might not know, tend to throw us off track, show us no interest, until that one thing, that may seem out of the ordinary but, has some connection to something that interests you, becomes a coincidence on top of all.

^^ I get what you're saying, I just think it was kind of confusing original.gif Do you mean, when I think of a song, and it plays, I see that as a coincidence, because it did play. But, most of the time, I think of a song, and it doesn't play, that's not unordinary, so no coincidence.

But the problem with that reasoning; coincidence is a label applied to a situation that IS unordinary, without a logical or rational explanation. Me running into someone I know while staying in Brazil, that would be a coincidence. As the odds are definitely not in my favor to know someone in Brazil, and I don't know of anyone going to Brazil. That means there is no rational or logical "reason" as to why I would run into someone I know in Brazil. That is a coincidence. Where as guessing a song on the radio, the odds are a little better, especially if it is a current song, and you're listening to a station that plays that songs genre.

Peace

I think of life as a type of movie format where we trully are the actors...we may be able to change the lines and paths of the movie but we can't change the ending...so we might aswell just read from the script..
