Nah .. City dweller, although I try to visit and spend as much time there as possible. Live in town to be closer to my job ..

http://www.kodakgallery.com/Slideshow.jsp?...1woui0&Ux=0I like the "Fabled Banyan"
India's National Tree - BanyanIndian fig tree, Ficus bengalensis, whose branches root themselves like new trees over a large area. The roots then give rise to more trunks and branches. Because of this characteristic and its longevity, this tree is considered immortal and is an integral part of the myths and legends of India. Even today, the banyan tree is the focal point of village life and the village council meets under the shade of this tree

Speshall, I am Indian

The Banyan is a great tree, NME...We saw the one of the largest ever in the world in Chennai (Madras). Its in the Theosophical Society. Sadly, it's center trunk was uprooted by a cyclone, but it continues to survive.

All my pictures of Yosemite are film photographs, and tucked away in an album. I'm too lazy to dig them up and scan them, but it IS a pretty place.

I'm an artist I guess, but for whatever reason Photography has always elluded me. This is the only decent pictures I've taken ever. hahah. It has a funny story too.
People always ask me what this little gal was thinking of when I took this picture. I can tell you that. It's a photo of my daughter I took at Mele Cascades in the country of Vanuatu. She was about 16 at the time. She's giving me that classic "Oh mom" look, because I'd asked her to come out of the water and put a t-shirt on. In this area of Vanuatu, it's considered taboo for women to show their thighs or shoulders (nevermind that on some islands in the country, it's OK for women to be bare breasted, but they're still required to cover their thighs. :-) In this particular area, covered thighs and shoulders are the rule, so I got the "look" haha
And no worries about posting this photograph, it was used in a commercial tourism campaign, this isn't the first time it's been on a Web site.
