Just took these pictures today .

I thought you guys would appreciate this... I saw a interesting way of putting together stereo type images into an animated gif. I've been waiting to get the right images to try it out. I was out at some family's property today and got some pretty good shots to try. Microsoft Gif animator is free to download and very simple to use if you want to try it yourself, just take two images close together, use the software to animate and you're done. Here's my first try:



Works great with a good center focal point, there are some very cool ones if you do a search online!

I was down the beach this afternoon and I bumped into a Green Tree snake sunbaking.

I was out in the backyard playing with the new cam and came upon an interesting scene. Hopefully they aren't too gross for anyone, if you can't handle bugs scroll down! I was fascinated, I always liked those preying mantis bugs and one has taken a liking to our massive mexican sunflower plant in the backyard. Anyway, it started innocently enough with a pretty little moth, then out sprang the mantis! He glanced over at me a couple of times but otherwise didn't seem to mind me a bit.

Cool pics Episteme, that last pic shows the Mantis with a checky selfsatified grin.

Cute snake Harks

Yes it was a nice snake NC, harmless and cute. I don't know why he was on the beach, as he was a tree snake, but maybe he was on vacation.

Anyway I was down at Tully last weekend (Far North Queensland Aussie country) doing a few jumps, so I got a few picks of my skydiving buddies for you.





Looks like fun eh, well it is awesome, but don't take my word for it, just get your knees in the breeze and then you will know.
