Two ways. Overlapping images in photoshop.
Or
Making the room kinda dark, and setting the shutterspeed to an appropiate speed - say 10seconds. So, you sit on the bed for say, a second, then get out the way until the shutter closes.
I've never done it as well as Oblique has, takes skill~
Another way of doing it is on a double exposure. This means that basically you take two pictures on one frame. I can't honestly remember what I used for this photo.
Either way you definately want to use a tripod, or have the camera set up very steady because if the camera moves even one little bit it'll mess your photo up completely.
I have some more photos taken from that project somewhere, they might be on my dads computer at home but I'll have a good look on my computer now. I was basically exploring the ghostly qualities of my house. Its an old black and white cottage, its got at least one (friendly) ghost in it I took some photos in the room where she died which I was kind of scared of doing because I wasn't sure if I would see more than one ghostly image.
With the photo I've already posted I was quite pleased because I thought the pompoms might move due to me taking my weight off the bed but it turned out quite nicely I think.
~goes off to look for some more of my ghostly photos~
