Full Version: I see Ghost all the time - does anyone else ?
Lottie..... I'm open to the idea of seeing things, although I think it would scare the crap out of me at first. Once in a while I do notice certain things.... I was manager of a game arcade a while back, where if I was there by myself, I would think I saw something move out of the corner of my eye but if I looked, there would be nothing there. Sometimes I would notice things like thinking I had placed something in a certain spot, then later it would be moved, but I wasn't sure if I put it where I thought I did or not. Sometimes I would just feel a slight chill or a small draft when there was really no reason.... sometimes it would just be a strange feeling. Why is it that nothing ever really grabs my attention (not that I REALLY want it to, but I'm not opposed to it, I just think it would scare the bejeezes out of me.)

i had to get this in b4 i went to bed...
today i was standing in my computer room, and i saw one of those flying flash ghosts fly right in front of the window i was looking out of...
later on (a few minutes ago) i was talkin to my step-dad, and a ball of light rolled across the ground, now of course he was looking at my face, and he didnt see it, but my dog did, he followed it with his eyes/head....
kinda cool....
like i said before, i see them a lot

sometimes it's good to see other people here that have the same problems as me. well i don't really know if it's a problem or just a blessing of some kind.
as i said b4 my wife has some kind of ability that she is afraid to use. but it doesn't seem to make them go away. it would be 1 thing if only she was seeing these things but she is not. i see them sometimes and my daughter always sees them. my little girl doesn't sleep in her own room any more because she says people stand by her bed and watch her sleep. they don't hurt us or even play tricks on us like some of you have said. but they do just stand there like they are in line waiting at the unemployment office. we have been to 2 different medians and they both said the same thing to us. we have nothing to worry about because my wife has a guardian angel that is always there with us. we have never seen this angel but feel better knowing 2 different people that don't even know us described him to us and both have the same description which is alarming becasue he has only 2 fingers on 1 hand.
we have a little girl here. i like her. for some reason i feel very good about things when we see her. she reminds me of my daughter while playing. this girl never seems to want anything like the rest of them though. why is this.

umm.... i would like to give u my 2 cents on why this girl doesnt want anything like the others, but i think its safe to say that most people dont understand what u mean by this.....

o.k the little girl just walks around. she never seems to be waiting or watching. she has been seen by myself , wife and daughter also a neice of mine has seen her without any of us even telling any1 we were having these problems. but like i said she just simply strolls around

Is that a fact. The same thing happened to me for like 3 years, it was brown and about the size of 2 fists put together. Then I saw what looked like a man standing in my doorway, it was brown too, after that it quit happening.
I also see what look like shadows out of the cornor of my eye all the time, dont mater if its day or night. Then theres these things that just flash in front of me, like something just flew by really really reallr fast.

no we haven't tried to do anything because my wife is scared shitless. she is terrified to be alone and wants nothing to do with any of them. I find it very interesting and cool while at the same time I am a little weary if that sounds reasonable. we are both afraid of using a ouija board which was suggested by someone b4. There is a friend of my cousins that told us she will come over to see if she can help, but we have to wait for her. she said she had a bad experience with this a short time ago and needs a little time. so all we can really do now is wait.

May have been ball lightning, but I doubt it. You have a better chance of seeing a leprechaun dancing in your shower.

Sorry it took me so long to respond, but I was away from the house for a couple of days. The shadow thing is like a big column that moves around and has a mass near the cieling. It just sort of moves towards you and it looks like its vibrating a little. It gives you this feeling of fear for your life in your stomache and you just have to run from it or try to anyways. Thats why I sleep with the things around me that I do. They make me feel better and let me think i have a chance if it ever decided to hurt me and not just scare me sleepless for a day or two.
Ok so what Ive got isnt anywhere as cool as what youve experienced, but it still freaks me out even after a dozen years. There is a house (isnt it always a house) in a provincial park close to where I grew up, it used to be owned by a very wealthy rancher, now as children we used to avoid actually going anywhere near the place, not sure why really but we just did, anyway, over the coarse of several years spanning our early to late teens we began to visit this house on a fairly regular basis, you know ten feet tall and bullet proof, it didnt hurt that the chicks loved a good ghost story which usually lead to other more interesting enterprises 
. We had dug a pit and covered it with plywood and felled trees, kind of our makeout hut, we'd take our girls up there and well, have a good time. My best bud and I had trekked up there one night with some fresh supplies, candles, matches......condoms, it was twilight and we decided that we should lay down some plastic before we left for home, we really hadnt noticed how quickly the sun had disappeared until we heard something walk across the roof of the hut, since this was provincial land and it is illegal to dig, cut or otherwise mess with we figured that we should minimize the gravity of the situation, so we blew out the two candles that were eluminating the pit, we sat in complete silence for around ten minutes, when I looked to my right I noticed a strange pulsating light through a gap in the wood, I was transfixed, and somewhat confused, where we were located should have been far from any road access and what ever walked over the roof should have collapsed it, fear gripped the both of us and we threw open the small plank that was our door and ran headlong down a steep embankment, I stole a glance or two over my shoulder never seeing the light again, when we stopped to rest and laugh aloud at the situation we notice a small black cat sitting in front of us, neither of us noticed the animal before hand, it just looked at us and meowed once, then it turned and began to walk towards one of the road ways leading out of the park, it looked back at us and meow again as if to signal us to follow, which we fealt compelled to do, so we did, if the cat got any further than ten or fifteen feet ahead of us it would stop and wait, when we caught up it would again resume its route, eventually the cat lead us to an exit point, my friend and I chuckled at the odd little animal and when we crested the hill found it had disappeared, completely, no little black cat could be seen. Later on that night at my friends home we recounted our little adventure and concluded that it was nothing more than a freak incident amplified by environmental and psycological factors, that was satisfactory for us at the time, however, on later outings to the old place we would see and experience things that would bring us to believe a far more sinister force was at work that night, and a small black feline lead us to safety. The other incidents were also shared by several other friends of ours at various other times while visiting that park, events such as while driving into the park at night I noticed a glow at the side of the road, I dismissed it as a speed indicator and drove by, no sooner had we crested the invisible barrier than everyone in the vehicle was suddenly overcome by nausia and a blindingly painful headache, closing my eyes from the pain I saw a flash of a face, I would later find out that the other two occupants of the vehicle had also seen the face, strangely each of us felt compelled to draw this face and hide it from plain view, when we each unvailed our drawings we again felt a chill as each face was identical to the last. After the initial shock had worn off we came to the conclusion that this "thing" which we refered to as ofall things "it", was infact not very nice, we tucked our pictures and memories of this incident away for some time, until oneday my buddies cousin comes to town, we unwittingly go back to the same house that has been the source of all our problems at least spiritually, Cousin John several days later admits to us that he has been seeing something in his dreams, when asked to describe it we are shocked to discover that it matches what weve seen collectivly months previous, Cousin john was charged with 2nd degree murder several weeks later when he knifed his best friend to death in a dowtown alley over a beer. there is so much more to tell, and as I type I recall so much more, perhaps some other time.

last night i saw what looked like those shadow ghosts in the picture gallery..
it floated around my basement while i was watching some tv
i turned around to see who was coming down the stairway, no worries, my mom...
but right when i was about to turn back around i saw it come out of the bathroom in the basement, float there, then spin and fly to the opposite end of the basement, then disappeer... now keep in mind that my mom was in the laundry room out of the veiw of this ghost... my only wish now is to get a real picture of one of the many ghosts i see daily.....
but thats just a wish

o.k guys wait a minute here. these things that i see are only like split second things. like the little girl will walk by the doorway or i see something and then it's gone. but you guys are talking about long term things here. and floating things also. i am a little weary here and would like to hear more about this stuff please.

i saw the kid that inhabited my house a year back, that was riding his bike..., he rode past me (elapsed time, 5 seconds tops)

I am sooo scared right now....
a few minutes ago, i was listening to my new cd on my new stereo, just to check some stuff out, and i decided to come online. I made SURE that i turned it off, cuz my stepdad is a stickler for energy saving... i got online, and then i hear some music, and i think, oh its just from outside, but then it got louder, so i went in my room, and sure enough, the stereo was on the radio setting , not the cd setting, and it was playing...
im soo scared, nothing like this has ever happened to me before... dont worry i unplugged it, i hope whatever turned it on doest plug it in...
what should i do?!?!

I am totally new here, I just joined a couple of minutes ago.. but this conversation/topic really caught my interest. (since I have seen a couple of ghosts too)
I was in Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum in Florida, and me and my grandparents went into a really dark corridor full of tourture devices. I was looking through the glass at something like the Iron Maiden (for all of you who dont know, its like a sarcophagus(cant spell...) but with spikes on both sides, so that when you shut it, the person inside gets stuck with them, I think...I could be mistaken..) Suddenly, everything kinda goes still and I cant really hear anything. All the people standing near me weren't moving. I was still looking through the glass, and suddenly there was a young woman there beside the thing like the Iron Maiden. She had on a white robe, and she had crimped blonde shoulder length hair. Anything that could move, was shivering as if in a breeze, (corny I know...but true...) and she was mouthing something and beckoning me. I looked around, and no one was moving, so I took a step forward towards my grandparents. Then everyone was moving again, acting like they haden't seen a thing...(which they prolly didnt..) I THINK I read the tablet with the description. I THINK it said that a princess had been killed in it. I am saying I THINK because I was really scared at the time and I dont even remember the rest of the day I was so freaked out, so I may not have read it and may have just made it up in my mind trying to convince myself later....
Also, my dog Shadow is always barking at nooks and cranies, or at random things... sometimes he'll want to go out, and he'll just stand by the side of our house and bark at us. This leads me to believe that ghosts sometimes pass through our house....but I cant ever see them so I dont really know

well i have seen ghosts before but not very often. they look fairly normal to me but no one else sees them.

Well I've only had one "ghostly" experience. One summer whilst I was student (guess I was 20ish) I was working as an evening cleaner in a 60/70's office block. During our tea break two of the cleaners talked about various ghostly occurances, fairly usual sort of stuff, radios playing when no one was around, lights coming on after they'd been switched off. Well we all had a good chuckle as it normally happened to one of the security guards (who were to cheeky for their own good so no one minded) during a night patrol and forgot about the stories.
Then several weeks later I came out of one of the toilets and saw a dark shadow out of the corner of my eye at the foot of the stairs opposite the toilet turned to look closer and it was gone and a chill went down my spine that I've never experienced before or since. I've almost managed to discount trick of the light as there was a big window by the landing at the foot of the stairs, so for a shadow to be cast something would have to be infront or behind the window which wasn't possible. I'd been in that toilet before and after and never experienced anything. I never actually told my workmates, thought about it but thought better off as I'm sure it would of fueled a prank at my expense. I don't know of any deaths during building work or anything, however the site is a few hundred meters from the old roman road going to cirencester.
Oddly enough my Dad (and Grandad) have seen ghosts on several occasions, can't really remember the stories as they were normally told when I was younger. I've no reason not to believe him as he's quite a religous man and certainly isn't prone to making things up and does believe the supernatural.

nice to read everyones stories, iv'e never been lucky enough to see a ghost of a person just ones of cats at my mums house, i have put that on here before does anyone else see ghosts of animals? 
sry, but i dont think it is possible to see the "ghosts" of animals...
i was brought up to believe that only humans had souls, or "ghosts"(many other religious people were brought up this way also) so what im sayin is that it is impossible to see animal's "ghosts" sry to say it but i think ur mind was just playing tricks on you

thats ok FH i never meant to sound funny myself, must admit i am a bit strange or so my hubby tells me. hope you like it here mate i do , i seem to fit in ok.
I've only seen one ghost and it was some time from now. I walked past a room in my house and looked in as I walked passed it. When I got past the door I realised that there was an old woman stood in the corner of the room. I quickly looked back but there was nothing there 
! I know there was deffo a person standing there.

I have seen a few ghosts in my life. one of the ones saw was in my living room when I opened my room door to go to the bathroom when I looked in the living room there was some guy sitting on the couch I was scared out of my mind and then he started laughing at me he raised his head up like saying whats up then he dissapeared.
Another one I saw was when I was in the 6th grade I was in the auditorium at school and it was dark on the stage me and two of my friends were in there so we decided to go to the back when we got close to the courtains you could see a finger running down the courtains and when we opened the courtains you could see a shadow running back and fourth then we thew a pen back there and the lights started changing colors then it sounded like a someone was crying.
another time I was in my room one night I woke up like at 3:00am I was gonna go to the bathroom and I saw like a 7 foot shadow trying to look in my room.
another time I saw some guy in my backyard he just walked away.

I see them all the time also, i have went to graveyards and haunted sights for over 30 years to see whom i can communicate with, times i can, then there are times i dont see anything, most of the time i see activity, please feel free to send me an IM when i am online Crypto, will be glad to chat with ya about them
I feel like I have missed out. Ive never seen a ghost. My wife is in the military so we travel alot. The place Ive been to with the most ghots stories would have to be Maine. One spot in particluar was Katherines Hill in the blackwood. Its the 2 lane highway that cuts throught a beautiful woodland. I mean this place is very powerful. It gave me the feeling like there are faeries living in it. That would be the best description.
Anways, Katherine was decapitated in a car accident on the way to a school prom and her head was never found. The car crashed into a tree on the top of the hill. hence the name. The tree itself really stands out. Its quite tall and very gnarly looking. Like the trees one would see in classic horror graveyards. All twisted and such. There have been many sightings of her ghost. She appears as a damsel in distress who needs a ride to her school dance. Many people have picked her up but then she vanishes in thin air about half way down the hill.
I spent many nights travelling up and down this road. I was in Maine for 3 years and never experienced it. There was definatly a forboding feeling there, but I was very upset at the lack of ghostly visitations.
I can feel certain vibrations when in powerful places, but i have not yet experienced any hauntings. and I go looking for them! Any ideas why?

maybe they dont want to be noticed by you, or maybe ur not attracting them, maybe they run from u...

Hey I don't know if I've already answered or not. I see shadows, orbs, and mists. I've never seen actual forms of ghosts.
I sense spirits and ghosts... but have never seen one.. which is probably a good thing... cause I would probably pee my pants!!! 
hi,im kinda new here but i saw this topic and thought i should tell all of you my experince.it happened last February.I was trying to get to sleep one night and it was way too warm to get to sleep.After about an hour of trying i heard sumthing move in the room.i looked up and didnt see a thing.then five minutes after i settled down,i felt a heavy weight on my chest.then i went ice cold and sumthing grabbed my wrists so i couldn't move.this experiencee only lasted asbout thirty seconds but it scared me so much i sleptwith my parents for a month.i read up on such occurences and found out these things happen all the time.they are spirits who sap energy from their victim by using physical contact,and they have many names but one book mentioned that they were called an Incubus.btw i still sleep with the light on im soo scared as iv never had any experience like this.
incubuses and sucubuses, yeah thats a really freaky thing to think about.... i wish i could have physical contact with a ghost...
