i see ghosts in my huse, in other peoples houses, out in broad daylight, and anywhere else you can think of. what i see are either human shapped figures walking around, things that just flash in front of me and then disapeer, or things that fly all around the room.i also hear things such as knocks on doors when im the only one home, or foot steps all through the house. if anyone else has seen these things, or heard similar things i would like to hear your stories.

I'm not sure if your serious or not... but yeah. Unfortuneately I do. I always seem to have ones that like to bother me following me. I only have the orbs and shadows of people who have died follow me. Most don't bother to mess with me anymore. They just got tired of it. Now they just sort of follow me or stand near or over me.

I do. My house isn't haunted but I see them once in a while or know when they're around.

First one I ever saw was in my basement. I was standing at the end of the basement and I looked towards the other end. I'm not sure what I saw. It looked like a really tall skeleton or a really skinny guy. It was wearing tattered robes. When I turned and saw it, it had just started running. It turned and looked at me, and ran into the wall. For some reason I'm not scared.

Second one. I was mopping the floor upstairs. I was going to start mopping the steps. I picked up the bucket, turned around and saw a really short being on the stairs. It kinda looked like an alien.

Third. I was at my uncle's house. I walked into the living room and I saw an old man sleeping on the couch. He dissapeared right away.

One time I was sitting at the desk. I had a swifter sweeper next to me because there was a centipede that I kept seeing. I was waiting for it to come out so I could kill it. I was playing with it and it fell. Someone IM'd me on AIM and I responded. After that, I started playing with the swifter again realising I never picked it up.

Then before my dog went blind, she'd always start barking at corners and such. I went to see what it was and pictured really freaky men and felt like I was being watched.

Sometimes I wake up at night sitting up knowing that I'd just been talking to someone.

i'm dead serious, ...and if you have stories of happenings y cant i??? not sayin im lying or ne thing i forgot to mention the little boy at my old house i saw him a few times also he was about 3 feet tall and he would just show up in front of me while i was walking, like he wanted my attention

One just Floats at the foot of my bed at night but it dosen't do much.I can't see the head because I have a bunkbed.Weird huh.

When I'm at my parents place I swear I see the shadows or shapes of my deceided pets. Also when I am out shopping I notice people standing there in the corner of my eye but when I look directly at them they disappear.

Have you guys ever tried to take a picture of them? Sorry Im a total n00b here (newbie) so that might be a dumb question.
Also, dont you guys get scared seeing these things? Have you ever tried to communicate with them or shoo them off?
What do they want? why are they the way they are?

My Aunt has a friend whom could see all these ghosts too.She was afraid at the beginning but now she's got really used to it.There was once she visited my Aunt's house and said there was a spirit in the house.My Aunt was so afraid and quickly rubbished her claims but she knew there was 'something' there because she was having goosebumps and feeling a little cold that time.I dunno this friend of my Aunt but certainly would love to meet her one day though.

i was cared at first, but now im used to it, like its an everday thing now... and i just say.. oh there's another one... cuz i see them ALOT all over the place i dontknow if its a gift that i have or if they just want my attention or what, but i never really tried to talk to them because i just dont know what to say... y know?... its kinda odd to be talking to something that u saw, but then u cant see it, i dunno... its confusing, but i just remember that most arent there to hurt you, i havent been hurt by them yet, but i have heard stories of people that have very violent ghosts, ne way... the majority of them are friendly and they just want to be noticed....... thats my theory it doesnt have to necassaraly be yours

Cryptofreak, I'm like you. I used to be afraid at first, but now im used to it. Its an everday thing. I see them allot and all over the place. It's some sort of a gift that i have. Most just want some attention. I tried to talk to them successfully. One has told me he is just resting here until he feels like going away, but he doesn't tell me where to. Most arent here to hurt people, but some are. I have been hurt by one of them, it was one of the most unpleasant times in my life. They are interesting to watch when they interact with their environment.

Obviously, I find all of this very hard to believe. I would like some more details from all of you who can see ghosts. Most importantly:

1.) In what form do they mainly appear? Please be thorough in your descriptions...

2.) Are they a 'conscious' presence, or more of a 'replay'. Can they be interacted with?

3.) Are they actually seen physically, or "seen" mentally?

4.) Why do you feel you can "see" them when others cannot, truly there can't be anything different about your eyes which enables them to see ethereal matter?

dust19, i like how u think... um yes i do actually see them like right in front of me, and im not sure what it is that make some people see them more than others... maybe they can choose who they want to be seen by (btw, im mostly alone when i see these things, but my friend confirmed my beliefe by seeing the same ghost i saw on many occasions)
now i dont claim to be an expert or ne thing like that about ghosts all i said was that i see them.. and i have my theories. perhaps they can sense that u believe in them and they show themselves to you, or maybe all people have seen ghosts but they brush it out of theyre minds because they think it has some scientific explaination to it...

UMMM... forms... they appear to me in many forms actually

either i see them as if they are human not just in shape, but with much detail to them( such as the wrinkles in their clothes, their facial features, the whole deal like how i would see any living thing) ... or i see them as many do, only a whitish figure that has no detail, just a shape of a human

now the weirdest ones i have seen i would say are either the orbs which are blue and white , sometimes green.... or i see the flashes of color shoot through the house... ( i can assure u that i dont take any medication, drugs, or drink alchohol so dont bring that up...im 13 years old) but these flashes are probably the most common... they are very bright, colorful (blue, red, and white are most common) and fast... as in they shoot through the house in a matter of seconds..

now the part about the consious or replay thing, im not sure what u mean by that, but what i thinkk u mean is do they do the same thing over and over again, or do they do whatever they want...

well i guess u could say they do what they want because i never see the same action twice, ive heard the same thing twice, but i have never seen the same action in the ghosts twice...

i see orbs sometimes... they dont bother me.. they just shoot through my house or in front of me while outside...i have also had 6 encounters with ghosts...though not many people believe me... my cousin and some of her friends and maube 3-4 others

Isn't there a mountain in California where a bunch of orbs appear or used to appear? Brown mountain or something....

I have a ghost (ghosts? sometimes it's hard to tell), I usually don't see anything though. What happens most often are echoes. I'll make a noise (like tapping my pencil on my desk), only to hear an exact "echo" 2 minutes later. Sometimes it takes longer. Once I heard the door to the attic open (it's in the ceiling in the hall) in the middle of the night. I open my door, expecting my dad to be going up there, but the door was closed and everyone was asleep. I also hear footsteps above my room. So far nothing bad..................yet.

lisen im 10 so i dont drink and this one time i was practicing my karate and i heard some one say nice combo and i was gonna say thanks and i turned around and no one was there. another time i was playin my gba(game boy advance) in my dead grammas room and the tv turned on by it self (note the clicker had no batteries i checked) and i forgot some of them.

I see dark orbs as well as shadows. They look like shadows of people, but they usually have sort of faded out colors and they just walk around. They arent up against the wall. Some of them speak outloud. Others just follow you. Sometimes they move little things like keys, coins, and other things like that. One used to turn on the stove, flush the toilet and untie the curtains.

i never had a ghost sighting yet. : /

Wow u guys are realy gifted...cool. ..I dont know weather this is sighting or just a dream...When i was 5.i was staying at my grandparent house..That night i was sleeping suddenly i woke, to my supprise i saw a light on the wall very bright one.in the light i can see a face of a woman with long hair looking directly at me, i was so afraid that i started to cry and my grandparent woke up that night saying that there was nothing on the wall...At last i close my eyes again to sleep again...That was the last time i saw some thing like that,But i dont know weather that was a ghost or nothing at all.......I need help from u guys to clear my thoughts....

either, because u said it was a girl, it could have been a vision of the virgin mary, but i dont know exactly what it looked like so i couldnt say....

it could be a ghost that was just traveling by, and it was a coincidence that u woke up when it was there...

it may have wanted u to see it so this forum could have happened (ghosts love to be noticed)

or it could have been a dream (this happenes a lot to me, but i KNOW that most of mine are real, like 99.99%) you may have dreamed the whole thing up because when some one see's a ghost other ghosts appeere to that person a lot like me....

well i've seen them and i don't like it.

we have been told that they come for my wife because she has some abilities that others don't have. lately i have seen them while they wait for her to figure out what is happening. about a week ago i saw an old woman over my wife as she slept. all i could do was swing at her out of fear. she looked at me and disappeared. there is this little girl about the same age as my daughter (maybe10) she comes around alot and has been seen by every one of us in our family also by guests. it doesn't matter the time of day or how many people are around. she is not dangerous and she is a little calming. there are others that are not so calming i once saw a tall man with a hat standing in my doorway looking at us sleep. he sends chills up my spine.

I once thought i saw an image of my mothers dead cat sitting on a clothes like. What I realized was that it was an image created by my mind putting together information while I was not totally aware, so that I saw something out of the corner of my eye and then my mind misread what it was seeing. We all see optical illusions, but then when we start to believe in them they become more real. In Australia there was a fence that disected a certain way so that when viewed at the right distance and angle, would create an optical illusion that looked like Mary. Ghosts however are real in that they are the death call that all animals send when they die through unnatural causes. This is how animals learn not to eat certain types of plants or animals, a dead animal cant mate so the only way to pass on a message to pevent others meeting the same fate is to send a message telepathically that can be passed on to the next generation; there would be no point in a cane toad being poisoness if no one knew about it. So when you go to a haunted house you have the memory of the person that died there already planted in your subconscious,so you will be able to manifest the memories which can result in vivid visualizations.

but i just wanted to add what i saw today, seeing as to how it was a spiritually eventfull day....

as i was riding home from school, riding my bike, i saw a "person" shape in front of me, but it dissapeered right before i got to it...

and while i was taking a whiz in my basement bathroom, i saw a man standing next to me while i was doing so... he was very very tall...

also, just before i posted this, i saw a flash of light fly in front of my face...

like i said before, today was very eventfull...

I saw something when I was 16 that scared me to the core. Look under the ghosts & paranormal section...Shadow man...I think I give pretty good detail of what happened...and I'm open to any suggestions on what it may have been.

i have seen many types of ghosts i even have my own personnell ones there are three of them they are cool i send them on missions there are many kinds of ghosts the white are= the black are= ...

I thought I would b a bit ore specific on how they look.

The dark orbs are just like black balls of energy that just go floating by once in a while. The shadows that look like people are kind of hard to explain. Most of the ones in my house are of this type. Most of them sort of look like gas coming off a stove when the pilot light didn't go off. All wavy and wispy looking but with color. They just walk around doing the same things over and over. Replay ghosts are the term for those I think, there are like 4 of these in my house. Then there are the other 2. One looks like the others, but seems to be stronger. It is nice, I guess. It just moves little things around and turns things on or off. The only trouble it has caused is burning the occasional pot or pan. Then there is the one that has everyone in my house and animals freaking out. It's just this huge black shadow. If you shut off the lights in my house and look into the darkness it will be there like half of the time. It harasses us from time to time. Grabbing us, tapping us, holding us down while in bed, standing over us when we wake up and making it hotter or colder in certain spots of the house.It also just appears and scares the crap out of you because of the way it gives off this feeling of like hatred and power, like it knows you can't do anything to it.

Well as we don see Ghost like you there maybe one reason.
most of us dont take CIGAOIN (ciger+heroin).

anyway, i saw a ghost at my school today....1st one at my school

it was standing outside the school by the wall, just leanin against the wall... and then i saw him vanish... kinda odd, he was the 2nd most detailed ghost i have ever seen

forgot to discribe him...

he was kinda short, maybe 5 foot, and he was wearing a hat, like one of those ooolllldddd hats (the name escapes me right now) kinda like a detectives hat, but more casual... and a suit.

i really want to talk about an experiance that happened about a year and a half ago


i was taking my dog outside for his last pee of the night and i saw a little kid on a bike riding past me and my dog on the side walk.. now this wasnt a human, he was transparent, but i could see enough of him so that i could tell what he was wearing... oooolllld "turn of the century" clothing, and he was riding an old schwinn bike...

this was the creepiest of all of my sightings

Spyro the dark balls of light that you see are not evil or anything just spirit that is miserable or has a negative attitude that is all. Spirit when in this form shows how it feels by the colour it produces.

I have seen, heard and felt spirit all my life, although I am not big on labels I am what is called in the trade as a Psychic Medium . I see Spirit in front of me and in my head as I see normal living people. I hear spirit as clear as day and I also sense spirit by its vibrations. Different types of Spirit have different vibrations. I see situations and things that have happened in the past, for example, on investigation I can walk into a room and be almost transported to how it formally looked, I can walk down the street and the same thing will happen. I can say to someone spirit is over there, they take a photo and a light anomoly is in that photo. I can read photos and tell people whats in the location before they go. I also read people and I do rescue work, i.e help spirit to move on and I advise people on spiritual development.

This to me is completely natural and normal. Of course I need to close down otherwise I would be a shining beacon for all in sundry to drop by all the time. But to me it would be un-natural not to have what I have. Everyone has some ability as well, whether its very strong or not and of course people see different things. It is whether you are open to it....another story...
Enough about me!!! I have gone on long enough!!

p.s As with evrything in life we learn all the time. Not for one second would I ever presume that I am all knowing...absoloutely not! I am still learning along the way

I've never seen any myself that I know of. I guess I WOULD know if I have, right? I don't know.... But my best friend has seen ghosts since he was a young boy. He's 28 now and I'm 36. We used to work together and we were sweeping the store one night getting ready for an inspection. We were standing in an aisle, store was dark, lights almost all off and my back was to a wall where there were lots of pitchforks and pickaxes, things like that hanging on the wall. Just to my right behind me was the corner of that wall, which angled away, not toward like the corner of a room.... We were talking and I looked up, thought I felt something touch my ball cap I had on, I thought I had bumped a sign hanging down in the aisle or something, but there was nothing there. My friend asked me what I was doing and I told him. He said "OK let's finish up and go" He was completely freaked out. He said he saw a dark shape or shadow of a figure, like a very large man, maybe 6'8" or 7' tall, off of the corner of the wall..... so it wasn't one of our shadows on the wall..... He's also told me stories of being there by himself early in the morning to open the store, before anyone else was there, and sitting on the throne hearing footsteps walking through the store. Another time a 30 lb. bag of feed on a stack of only 2 or 3 high somehow ended up on the floor, he heard it hit, (again, early in the morning, all alone in the store), right after that a nearby roll of heavy chain simply started unrolling all by itself, like a roll of toilet paper..... He said he almost crapped his pants, went outside to wait until someone else arrived for work. There have always been rumors in this town about that store being built on an old indian burial ground.
