Full Version: Weird experience...

Right, I'm of the school of though that there has to be at least another planet in the whole infinite mass of space that is life-sustainable. I want to share a story with you guys about a weird sighting one night.

This was certainly no more than 10 years (as I was living in my current house, and will have been there either 10 or 11 years now...), probably somewhere around the region of 8-9 years ago (I was maybe 14/15?). Anyway, it would have been about 9 or 10pm and my mother was driving me home. We were about to enter a village called Kingsmuir, n the way, and jusrt as we hit the rise towards the start of the houses these two red lights appeared in the sky. I was watching them intently thinking they were maybe two fighterjets flying low, and waited for the roar of the engines... but there was none. Then the two lights started "dancing" in the sky, darting back and forth, chasing each other, stopping and starting. Now they were moving too fast to be either a known helicopter or jet with V/STOL, and were more maneuverable than a plane (well... the whole stopping and starting bit!), I called to my mum to look, and so she saw this spectacle as well. I know when it's pitch black it's obviously difficult to determine disfance, but since I know the terrain, I could estimate that the lights were not overly high in the sky, and probably not all that far away from the village.

I don't know what I saw (hence why I'm calling it a UFO) but whether it was aliens or some new aircraft I have no idea... Any takers??

I'm certainly not calling you a liar, but over that long a span, memories can become skewed, especially memories of fantastic events. Though if that is truly what happened, I can think of no good explanation.

I am not an expert on planes but those moves don't sound like something that any of the flying machines, that we know of, can do. That leaves you seeing military testing taking place or something undefined as we know it. It is a 50/50 chance either way. I am always inclined to believe it is an UFO because I question the intelligence of our government. hmm.gif

Yeah i know what you mean. Though I can say hand-on-heart that I remember it as plain as day, even though it was the dark of the night.

That's pretty much what happened. Although I can't remember the exac direction and speeds, I know how maneuvberable they were.

That reminds me of a similar experience that I had not so long ago. I had taken my dog outside to do his "business", when I decided to ask the extraterrestrials to show me their craft. A few minutes later as I looked towards the west, I noticed a glowing object. It was red, and it was just there long enough for me to see it.

It was not dancing, perse, but it was red... which would explain why your experience reminded me of mine.

Sleep paralysis is where your brain is awake, but your body is physically still asleep. Get your facts straight.

She would obviously have recollection of the sleep paralysis.

Who would have recollection? If I'm right in my inderstanding, sleep paralysis is usualy the suggested solution for abductions (and visits from demons and succubi among other things). Weird lights in the sky usually have a more physical explanation.
