Right, I'm of the school of though that there has to be at least another planet in the whole infinite mass of space that is life-sustainable. I want to share a story with you guys about a weird sighting one night.
This was certainly no more than 10 years (as I was living in my current house, and will have been there either 10 or 11 years now...), probably somewhere around the region of 8-9 years ago (I was maybe 14/15?). Anyway, it would have been about 9 or 10pm and my mother was driving me home. We were about to enter a village called Kingsmuir, n the way, and jusrt as we hit the rise towards the start of the houses these two red lights appeared in the sky. I was watching them intently thinking they were maybe two fighterjets flying low, and waited for the roar of the engines... but there was none. Then the two lights started "dancing" in the sky, darting back and forth, chasing each other, stopping and starting. Now they were moving too fast to be either a known helicopter or jet with V/STOL, and were more maneuverable than a plane (well... the whole stopping and starting bit!), I called to my mum to look, and so she saw this spectacle as well. I know when it's pitch black it's obviously difficult to determine disfance, but since I know the terrain, I could estimate that the lights were not overly high in the sky, and probably not all that far away from the village.
I don't know what I saw (hence why I'm calling it a UFO) but whether it was aliens or some new aircraft I have no idea... Any takers??
