Ok so I love to get tattoos and peircings.So I wanted to share some pics of my tattoos,and wanted to see some other peoples and here the reason's they got them and whatnot.

I have two tats (I'll post pics when I can get some)
One is a dragon I designed myself on my back. Hes about 6 inches tall and dunno how wide! First one I ever got. When I was younger I was convinced dragons were real and I wanted one as a pet o now I just have one permanently! I also have 6 purple stars, 3 going down each side of my stomach. They were a 21st present from my boyfriend. Still need a bit of touching up. Not so much personal but something I thought looked good.

Next one I have planned is the 4 Led Zep symbols going down my neck and spine. Haven't decided what size yet. Their music has just helped me through some tough times.

I also love piercings, got so many but won't go into details of which ones

Tattoos are grose.

So why read a thread dedicated to them?

Ok I was informed that some of my tattoos were against forum rules with the language.but seeing as I only have one tattoo that is lettering I'm gonna take them off although I've read worse than a tattoo I got for my favorite band.

I've only got two tattoo's at the moment, one on each arm. The first is a chinesse style dragon and the other one is a shark.

Nice Tats guys! I have one, although i've been starting to notice how lonely it is lately, all the way up there on my right bicep. I'll post a pic later, but i'm looking highly forward to giving it a friend sometime this summer.

I have the chinese symbol for horse and tribal art across my lower back, I have a tribal horse on my right anke.. and I have a dragon fly on the top of my left foot... and I would like one more, on my front right hip.. but I don't know what I want there yet...

Someday someday I am having a full backpiece done of a dragon in a library that my nephew drew - amazing artist and very "me." An little dragons coming out of eggs in the birthstone colors of my boys w/ their names. Just an idea the last one.

Those are cool. Doesn't it seem like after you've had one for a while you want to add stuff to it? I keep thinking maybe I want to go in and have the word "obey" written underneath my Wonder Woman. I want to get Alice Cooper on my leg. I have Buttercup from the Powerpuff Girls on my right arm, I gotta get that one posted.

I have 2 tattoos. They are on my back at the shoulders, on each side. One is a black jaguar, my favourite big cat. I got that one when I was 18. The other I got last January for my birthday. It's a picture of a stuffed puppy with my son's name beneath it. I'll post pics of them when I get a chance to.

I love tats. I myself have 6 tattoos. 2 are artworks, and the other 4 are tributes to my friends that have died of unatural causes. I wish that I have pictures to show, but I'm at work.

i have pictures of some of my friend's artwork, and his tattoo work. By seeing his art, you can get an idea of how good his tattoo work is.

All wall art he has dome is not vandalism, but asked to by the property owner themselves.

... and a baby dragon, also known as a chinese lion or a kylin.... you know like the statues in front of the chinese restaraunts.

I have several tattoos...

all of my skin art is hidden (due to my job *huffs*)

My first was the butterfly which I got at 17...and is in an...erm...undisclosed area...


My second tat(s) was the stars, shortly after the butterfly...I made the mistake of going to a crappy artist and they came out really bad...Live and learn


My third and final (as of now) is the Skinny Puppy tat...in an undisclosed area Picture came out horrible...ugh...I look so pale! whee!

I want some stars somewhere!! I love stars....

I have the spider on my hand, so everyone sees it but my job's cool w/it. The boss is an old Army Vietnam Vet guy and he's tatted up too.

I drew this pic years ago, and right when it was done I knew I wanted it as a tattoo. And I still want it, though with a few minor changes, so it's definitely stood the test of time. Someday, when I have the money, I'll have it done on the right side of my back...

as a teenager many years ago,my friend wanted his girlfriends name tattooed on his arm.he was afraid that he would'nt like how it would look,so we decided to put it on one of the guys who was passed out drunk.we tattooed the girls name on that guys arm,and he did'nt like it so he never got it done.the other guy was really shocked when he sobered up and found a girls name that he did'nt even know tattooed on his arm.we paid for the guy to get a cover-up.i have a black panther on my arm and really like it.

I have no Tattoo's of yet, but I would like to get the 'Great Wave' on my back with maybe a sleeve of the waves coming down my left arm.

I have 6 stars, 3 on each side down my hips. (Purple with black outline)Hurt so badly and unfortunately have to get them filled in again. One of the Suicide Girls has really nice stars going all over her stomach, just all outlines. They look so good.

I got a tat of a sunflower on my left ankle I plan to do a cover up on, i got a very large butterfly tat on the swell of my back which I love. My belly is pierced..umm two other piercings which Im sure u can figure out without me saying consider they come in pairs and Im female...LOL And I plan to either get a monroe or labret done. Plus working on the idea of another tat soon besides the cover up

I think people should put some thought into their tattoos; it will be with you forever.

I don't have any, but i want to get one done soon. I'm not sure where to have it done though Which part of the body does it hurt the most, excluding the private parts ehem ?

I've got one on each arm and then one on my hand and they kept telling me that the one on the hand was going to hurt more but I don't think it did. It goes sort of numb after a few minutes anyway.

I was thinking of doing it somewhere on my back, maybe lowerback (in the middle). Does it hurt there, cz its where the spine is

when i got mine i thought that it would go numb but it didnt aye. i hope when i go for my next one it goes numb coz its gonna be fairly big. in all dont be afraid of the pain... its a little while of pain for a lifetime of pleasure... and ive heard that the lower back doesnt hurt that much either

I dunno. My hubby has one on his back on the shoulder area and he said it hurt but he's a wimp when it comes to needle pain (don't tell him I said that). I mean it's not going to feel great anywhere you get it, but I never thought it was excruciating. I'd think the worst place to get one would be somewhere where the skin sat right on top of bone, but I'd just be guessing...

appariently the worst of worst place to get a tattoo (pain wise) is the chest. as many people have told me, who have had a tattoo on their chest.
