Hey guys and gals, i'm here with a strange occurance for me. Well, im currently 18 years old (turned 18 in january) and for the past 3 months, a strange appearance of the number 18 shows up everywhere!!

I look at the clock, and i see times like 6:18, 3:18 and etc...

I walk down my block and i just suddenly look up, 18 st...

I walk near a bank and look up and see the temperature, it is 18 degrees celcius...

I walk near a store, a box on the window has the number 18 on it...

I just bought a ticket to a play, and without knowing its for May 18th!

I turn on limerwire and check that the music im downloading is at 18%....

When i see series of numbers, i see numbers like 3453571873 and 18 always appears!


i may of forgot some other things, but 18 appears many times...can someone explain me if this is a sign of good luck or bad.....thanks

I believe it's only a coincident... Seriously, if you live in the city, you'll see numbers all over the place... Remember, the mind can play a trick on you

its because after you saw it a couple times your mind started pointing out everytime you saw it but lol this is weird

nah, ya may be right but i see the number 18 anywhere i walk...its stranger espcially with the box that had 18 (which was today) on it, how i just waked by and turned and see number 18 on it...

I think that it's coming up in your head because you just turned 18. Maybe it's because your excited about how old you are.

21 Here... anyway, I don`t think that you are exsperiencing anything paranormal, it`s just that you see a little bit more of that number than the other ones. And if you think a lille bit about it, I`m shure that 18 is far away from the only number that you are esperiencing.

Its only because that you notice it, you'll see alot more of numbers than 18 but you only notice the 18, thats why it seems so common.
In other words, you purposely notice the 18

I think it's a sign that something bad will happen once your 18th has passed. 18 is so common for you that once you break your special connection with it then you will be broken. Trust me, I can tell these things. There are no coincidences

Nothing will happen. It's not a bad sign. Seeing the number 18 doesn't mean that something bad will happen. It's just that you've taken notice to the number 18, adkchamp. Don't worry. Just think of it as a good sign.

i have to agree with some of the other posts and say it probably is a sub-conscious thing.in the last few years i see the number 444 all the time but that number has no meaning to me that i know of.thanks

Did you tell your kid that Death was next to his bed? Because you sound like someone I know. Why does it have to be something bad? Why not something good or just mediocre? Just something boring like 'after your 18th you'll be a year older' or something like that??

You are obsessed with number 18, therefore you are going to find it everywhere!

this is what is called a meaningful coincidence these are happenings that have a meaning , the number 18 will have a lot of meaning for you and something of a change will have happened or be happening around the 18th of something ie your 18th year or a date or a time. i have a number also that reoccurs regularly and this is number 13 , it means alot to me as a lot of things happen on the 13th for me alot more so than normal so watch out for the signs.

he sees thousands of numbers a day HE NOTICES 18 for one reason or another...

for example after 9/11 it seemed like i would always look at the clock and it was 9:11
but i look at the clock probably every 15 minutes.. i dont notice 4:25 or 7:20 but i still see them

just because he keeps seeing the number 18 does mean something is going to happen at all.....some of you people really need a grip on reality.

Well I was playing with you by giving you a number to see everywhere and you got all touchy. S'okay. I'll shut-up now.

Numbers are very spiratual. Numbers are the basis for everything God has created. All I can say is MY EXPERIENCE with numbers have impacted my life greatly. Pay attention. There is a book out by Dorene Virtue, she is a Ph.D. She goes into great detail about numbers related to your guardian angels. Your guardian angels will communicate with you through numbers. Don't let it make you crazy. Just pay attention. My advice is for you is to research this from professionals...hope this helps.

I also feel for coming generation.. if they don't want a religious fights.. they should start with a new belief.. numbers are common to all.. their own sprit will guide through it..

The "Flower of Existence" has 18 circles, and one more circling it. When your 18 your legal. So it's a big deal. You realize alot - if your smart enough anyway... Congrats dude. Just try and figure if you have a really bad graduation song or not. I hated mine. It was like I had not a single choice in voting for it anyway even though I did. So, hope for an Alice Cooper song. So see, we are still on topic....sorta....

ok so i'm back here to tell you what happened:


-first off, since now im 19, the number 18 STILL appears around me. Significantly, i learned that as it (maybe an angel or maybe me in another universe or w/e it is) pointed me out to things that i should avoid. E.g. let's say the street sign was named 'East 18 ST.' i know that going this direction, i will have to make a choice, a big one to a certain event. It was clear that everytime i saw the number and when i had got into a big mess, i got a way out after realizing that the number had aware me.

-second, as i see the number rarely now, i see a pattern of numbers and each number i see (e.g. 1, 2, 3 etc.) it each means something. I need to keep checking about this theory and what i learned about the numbers is that they DO play a significant role in your life. maybe good or maybe bad, it's the way you choose it to be....

This phenomena happens all the time and is called synochrisy (sp?). Jung described it as a layer under the collective unconscious where all events seem to be somehow interrelated.

From age 1 to 17 my mail box number was 131, now i'm 27 and i still see the number 131 everywhere. It seems to come and go like i'll notice it everywhere all the time and then it will just stop for about a month or so then all of a sudden i'm seeing it everywhere again. Who knows maybe it's someone trying to give us signs or help us pick path's, i don't no but i've been seeing 131 everywhere for years and feel that somehow it's got a meaning i just haven't figured it out yet.

Now, you say the number 18 is appearing everywhere for you and it really stands out. Truly, I believe that it is just coincidence that this is happening. You are also seeing this number everywhere because you are probably expecting it. The first few times you saw it probably stood out right away. I’m lead to believe that you are none the less actually looking for the number sometimes. Overall, I wouldn’t call this bad luck. Just a coincidence, in my opinion. I would actually call it good luck. Be proud, your finally the big 18!
