i hear you. Lighthouses, asylums, jails, amusement parks, and other delapidated are great locations, imo. I would like to see them stay away from individual houses, myself. Any other ideas from cyberspace as to good locations for TAPS to investigate?

GrayTone
Who here saw the one where the searched the red n white tripped lighthouse? That was some crazy stuff
The Raven
I watch it every Wednesday, and I've seen about all the episodes. Quite an amazing show. The EVP's they picked up at the jail were quite shocking to say the least. In comparison to last week at the Lighthouse, however, that was nothing. I am still awestruck at what happened at the Lighthouse.
crouton
I thought that figure of the sheriff was creepier than any paranormal activity that went on. I did not like it one little bit. no.gif

Well, they investigated an old jail. The only weird thing that happened was Brian and Steve (I think it was them) heard some cell doors rattling. There were supposed to be smells in one part of the building, but the only smell Jason and Grant experienced was urine, which was understandable since the cells had no 'facilities' when they were in use--just buckets, which weren't changed for days, sometimes. The smell of urine can linger a long time, when it gets into the walls and such. There was an animated manikin used in some presentation at the jail, which was the figure of a sheriff. That thing spooked me the most. Nothing happened with it, but if I were a ghost, I would be scared of it! ohmy.gif

For the life of me, I can't remember the other place they investigated!!! I know this isn't the most detailed of summaries, maybe someone else will give a better one!!!

the other place was the Italian restaurant in Jersey....Jason and Grant pretty much debunked the paranormal occurences being reported there, though the episode was pretty entertaining. I really enjoy Tango....

What I don't like about Ghost Hunters is that now I know , by just watching the tv commercials, which episode is going to be good and which one is gonna SUCK. how can i know it? well its simple, if they talk about two or more cases in an episode, then it sucks. but then if they talk about only one, then its a juicy one!
DamienPriest
Yeah... I'm a big fan myself, I watched it and didn't think it was as good as the St. Augustine Lighthouse Episode. They need to cut out the creepy music because it it blocks out any EVP's they catch or sounds made by spirits. Is it me or is Steve becoming more of an A**... I think Steve and Brian have issues that have to get worked out because on each episode it gets more intense between the two.

And btw.... I am a member of the LISPR Paranormal Group on Long Island and just got the word that our group could be inducted into the TAPS family. The owner of the LISPR was in Massachussettes with Jay and Grant and discussions went well. To think I could be a member of TAPS would be so awesome!

I'm pysched!

Congrats on the inclusion!

I don't think it's fair to "judge a book by its cover" regarding the previews....The Lighthouse episode was the lighthouse episode, but some locations just have more paranormal activity (and evidence) than others.

I've noticed Steve being more provocative myself and was hoping others noticed. Brian's a good guy, just a bit of a doofus. Steve seems to have a chip on his shoulder re: Brian, for no real reason. Maybe he feels threatened?
DamienPriest
I agree... and thanks btw.

I have a group meeting ths Friday, gonna get more news as far as the LISPR joining TAPS... I will keep you all updated, lol

Whats up with the next episode? The best of? Coming to the end of the season already?

the first one daniela?

the next episode is going to be a best of recap and then for the Season Finale TAPS will investigate the hotel from The Shining (the stanley hotel), which is gonna be awesome.
Daniella2310
the first pic, the thermo one!

omg i remember when i read the shining(read it in 2 days :-P ) , just after i finished reading it(meaning next day) my uncle told me we were going on a trip to Poconos. it was HORRIBLE! the hotel was deserted(it was fall) AND it looked exactly like i imagined the hotel from the book looked like crying.gif
DamienPriest
The Shining? Seriously? Dooooooood.... that would be so awesome!!! I was told by my Paranormal Group Leader Pete that your actually watching the 2nd half of Season 2. It's all taped episodes and we haven't hit the actually 3rd Season yet. That's why you see TAPS in a Winter environment on each episode. How do I know this? Pete met up with Jay and Grant in Mass during an investigation. It is confirmed that the LISPR, the Group I am in will be soon a family member of TAPS. Jay and Grant want to make our group the mothership of NY.

How cool is that!!?

I was in a Group meeting last night, and with becoming a family member of TAPS, we'll get more investigation on our lap. Supposivley rumors say that Sci Fi is going to filming an actual movie based on TAPS. TAPS themselves will be involved only on a Production level for the movie.

that is sweet thumbsup.gif , after watching the best of the best countdown, i can understand why Jason and Grant think the armory episode is their favorite or best. The sound guy got hit hard with his equipment bag, no wonder he said his face was numb for awhile lol. Was cool they were able to get a frontal view of him getting struck and seeing his hands tied up and feet planted.

What did they do in yesterday's episode?

it was a countdown of the top 20 most memorable TAPS episodes. Really cool stuff, especially for someone like me who hadn't seen all the past episodes. You got to see them at various stages of experience and growth, like investigations where they were working from a trailer (versus the office).

A buddy told me last night's episode is available for free on Itunes if you want to check it out. Some really interesting stuff went down, that's for sure.

I was watching the show last night, but missed the final moment. Can someone please tell me, it's killing me wacko.gif

haha -- did you ever see the episode when the cameraman experienced paranormal activity? He was essentially knocked over by a ghost or something. Very freaky.
enslavedbydragons
Well, not knocked over. The ghost they were looking for, picked up the bag he was wearing, and made it hit him under the chin, which, caused him to stumble backwards, but the part with 'something went through him', that I can't explain.

It was weird too because it's not as though the cameraman could get up immediately. It was as though he was out of his body for a few moments....I think of getting knocked down and despite the phycial pain, you can move/control your body immediately afterwards. He couldn't do that judging from what was recorded.

So psyched for the season finale tonight. This TV site had a pretty interesting article:

enslavedbydragons
Well, he could get up, but he couldn't because he said that his chest and below hurt like h@%%.
boorite
Um, if you hit someone in the chin with a bag of stuff, and he stumbles backward and falls from the impact, then you have knocked him over. original.gif
