How do you do automatic writing? I know it's how you contact spirits, but how do you do it? I'm very interested in it. Thanks!

you just sit at a table with a pen and paper. it's never worked for me but i've heard people say you actually feel another hand guiding yours. don't press down or you're likely to start writing from your subconscious. that's why it's best not to use anything that has to be pressed down to write with. a pencil or felt tip pen is probably best.

I don't get it, why would a spirit touch your hand, when instead it could just touch the pencil and start writing? It's not that believable.

Thats what i did, but nothing happened. I think you might have to be in a relaxed, meditative state of mind.

"When attempting automatic writing you may use a writing implement, computer, or any other means of communicating through the written word. Many people prefer the computer as they can type quickly without filtering the information coming through. When reread - even a typo can mean something.

To divert the focus of the writer - shifting from left brain logical thinking - to right brain intuitive thinking - take a pencil in hand, place it against a piece of paper as if about to write something. Then turn your attention to something else, such as watching television, reading a book, or talking with someone. For many people, their hand will write coherent material. "

It worked! I asked the spirit if it was here, and it said yes. I asked if it was a boy or girl, it said girl, I asked how old it was, it said 7. I asked it if it was the one who liked to play with my ipod, it said yes. It was so exciting!

Before I became a Christian, I experimented with Quija Boards with a flat mate of mine. At first I thought she was just moving the glass, so I asked qusetions about a dead relative of mine that she didn't know about....to cut a long story short... It worked

It was my brother who died before I was born, who we were' apparently communicating with... after a few days of using the quija board we tried just puting both our little fingers on other objects, box of matches, muslie bar, and they all moved on their own.

We got a piece of paper and a texter and held the texter upwright, then her and I both placed one finger on either side of the texter to hold it upwright on the page, and it started drawing, it drew a flower then it drew a perfect sketch of a face in detail.... I knew my flatmate wasn't doing it because if we both had only 1 finger each on the texter there is no way you could draw so intricatly and precious because each person could only push the pen in one direction. She did not know what he looked like, and neither did I cause he died before I was born and mum had no photos, but I showed her the sketch and she said it looked just like him.

So I guess you could call that automatic drawing... We didn't meditate, or have to get in a state of mind- It just happened after we'd been fooling with the quija board.

But to be honest, I wouldn't recommend trying either, we both ended up having horrific nightmares for weeks afterwards.... We both stopped using them after that, and I don't know about her, but I have never touched anything like that again.

I haven't gotten that far yet, tongue.gif She said her name is Elle. But my aunt has been doing automatic writing for years. She communicates with Joshua Scott. He is suppost to be either my dad in a past life, or a friend of my dad in a past life. I'm not possitive. This auntomatic writing is really cool!

That would then be a poltergiest and they usually get the message across with lobbing (throwing) things about or in some pc haunting reports making a keyboard type.
