I've been having some seriously strange dreams lately. I'm almost certain it's due to stress and such..but I wanted to share them here because I believe they are interesting stories If this is not an appropriate spot for this thread, by all means, move it!

My first dream:

I had two weeks ago. I had a dream that i was walking down an endless corridor with doors to either side of me. I opened each one and it had a family member or friend inside of it. Each family member looked younger and each friend looked older. With each door i opened the person inside would welcome me in and give me some sort of lesson. (ie: my father told me to take risks.. my mother told me to follow my dreams...my best friend told me to listen to others, etc.) They were short little life lessons and I would walk out.. I never got to finish the corridor walk (it was endless) but the last person I talked to really upset me..
It was my grandmother(the one I am closest to) She looked like she did in the pictures I've seen of her as a 20 year old. (she resembled marilyn monroe a bit she was very pretty and glamorous looking..even though she most certainly did NOT live the glamorous life ) When I opened the door she looked up at me and turned her head. She didn't invite me in and I asked her why...she said "You hurt me! You don't talk to me often enough. I just want to be part of your life and you think it's a pain to speak to me! Well I do not want to speak with you!" And I just stared in shock and woke up.
Back to the REAL world: I felt bad that I had been putting off calling my grandmother..and that's most likely why I had the dream. I planned on calling her the next day.. which was Friday two weeks ago. that day she had a stroke..she's been in the hospital ever since and last night my family took her off of life support. She hasn't passed on yet because she's breathing on her own. but she isn't going to make it. I think I'll always feel guilty for putting off that phone call to my grandmother who loved me so much.

I also had a REALLY weird dream last night. I was in another hallway ( i have dreams of hallways all the time) and I came to this door at the end of it that had a bit of light shining through the keyhole...I looked into the keyhole and saw on the other side what looked like soldiers and a family with children dressed up very nicely. They were speaking Russian(the only reason I know it's russian is because my aunt is russian and speaks it all time) so i couldn't make out everything they were saying..I snuck in and hid behind a small wooden desk/cabinet because I wanted to see what was going on..Well everything was very calm..the soldiers didnt sound nice but they werent being violent. Then all of the sudden there was a panic and screaming and gunshots..The soldiers were assassinating the family.. i didn't know what to do! I WAS SCARED TO DEATH! so I ran through the door but one of the soldiers saw me. He followed me out and was shooting at me but missing. I ran through a half burned down forest. and lost the russian soldier. Then I saw a girl only a few years younger than me running. I asked her why she was running and she told me (in a russian accent) she had left the room she saw me sneak into. I asked if she had parents and she said she thought her parents were dead. So we ran through this half burned forest until we came to a fork in the path..I asked her which way to go and she said to go to the left because it was "as safe as heaven" in her words. So I ran with her and we suddenly stopped because in the middle of the path was a ouija board and a planchette..and before we said anything to it...it said it was the girls dead grandfather... and there was voice coming from it speaking half russian half english. then it started spinning and circles and flipped over on its own and as soon as it hit the ground I woke up!

IT WAS SO WEIRD! So I read a long time ago about the real anastasia romanov and she was the first person who came to mind after I woke up. I did a bit of research and found out how the romanov's died.. and thought this dream to be oddly similar. (for those who arent aware..they were killed in a basement (i believe it was basement) after they had been called down there for what they thought was going to be "taking a family picture" (thus them being dressed up for the occasion)and then that ouija board was just...so random lol

Anyway..just thought I'd share. any thoughts?

sorry to hear about your grandmother.my grandma was like my second mom to me and i still think of her all the time.don't feel bad,you know you love her and so doe's she.the second dream is almost exactly like the romanov family.is it possible your sub conscious mind may have brought back this story in your dreams?they were indeed killed in the basement of the house where they were being held.they were told they were going to have their picture taken and when they all went to the basement they were shot by russian soldiers.thanks.

Interesting dreams. I wouldn't worry about it all that much though.
I have strange dreams all the time. Some of them are quite upsetting.
I don't know if it's anything from the subconscious coming to the fore or what,
but when I wake up I feel really strange. But once I'm fully awake I realize it's
just a dream and I get on with my life.

The night after my dad passed away I dreamt that he came to see me, but it was very wierd. I think it was caused by stress, but I had a dream that my dad came walking down my hallway in my house and I reached out to hug him and I yelled "DAD!!!" and the wierd thing is I knew he was dead and was surprised to see him, he pushed me away and walked down the hall towards the kitchen. I followed him down the hall like it was clear as day, he opened the refridgerator and looked inside and started complaining that there was no tea or something...TYPICAL OF HIM!!! It was so real and have never had another dream like it again.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother but it seems to me about your grandmother telling you to talk her in your dream was some higher power letting you know to relate to her cuz she was about to go. Spiritually speaking, the dream about the ouija board may be evil spirits compelling you to contact your grandmother from the dead, but dont do that the spirits from the ouija board are all evil and pretend to be family members and the only reason they know all about your relatives is because they're "assigned" to families, but that is another topic...when we die we either go to heaven or the other place, and thats it...God bless your grandma in heaven.

The Russian Family could be a look into a past lifetime of which you were a part or perhaps some of your Russian family members which you speak about where there in that Lifetime and again in this Lifetime you found each other.

Now we will talk about the doors and the relatives and friends, many of them you visit and talk to and spend time with, then we get to your grandmother and this is no doubt to say she felt you spent much time with other family members and friends and never seemed to have time for her in your busy life.

Many elderly people do feel this way, because I feel that many younger family members drift away from them because they are sometimes sick, and they may complain and younger people don't know how to deal with them so they stay away.

Now your grandmother had a stroke and if she lives she may not remember who you are as sometimes happens, but when she passes over into the Spirit World all the affirmities will disappear and she will once more be just as mentally alert as she was when she walked the Earth so don't be surprised if when she passes over she returns to say goodbye and speak to you.

I think the message here is don't neglect older people just because they get sick, and old and wrinkled, because quite often inside their minds if they have no affirmities their spirit is just as young and vibrant as it was when they were younger and that may be why you are seeing some as younger and some getting older.

Many people are afraid of ouija boards and say only Evil Spirits contact through the Oujia Board but the truth is this is the first line of communication from your relatives and others is through the oujia board.

People say Evil Spirits contact through the Ojuia board but the fact is quite often its only people we knew or sometimes relatives who don't like us or who want to frighten us and play jokes who pretend to be satan, demons and or Evil Spirits.

So my recommendation is keep an open mind and if someone says they are your relative and they are nice and telling you things you might ask some questions that no one else would know that only you and they know and this is one way to sort out who is there.

Once I dreamed I decapitated my best friend with a shovel...

But I used glue to stuck his head again... Then took him at a forest and burried him... But i burried him in a "standing" position, and I didno burry his neck and his head (those were above the ground)

He started moving, and I was like, "ah the f***er is still alive" I took an axe (no clue where I found it) and hit him in the head...

But he was still moving....
He came back as a Zombie and he said he was going to kill me unless I go running to the nearest restaurant and count to 50, 3 times.


I did and I woke up That's a WEIRD DREAM !!!


Dreams are weird. I donot think we should take them very seriously!

Sorry for your grandmother!A few months ago my grandfather died whick i loved him very very much and i know how you feel!!
About the dreams:they were very interesting,i also have some weird dreams when i was stressed!

I've already stated in another post that I dont ever plan on using my ouija board ever again.. lol and my grandmother has now officially passed away. I'm going to miss her a lot. She knew I loved her a lot and I did visit or contact her often. I just was putting it off the week she had the stroke and rosemary campbell...I do think my subconcious was saying STOP putting it off! she doesn't have much longer!. But now she's gone and I know she knows how much I loved her and will love her.

About the russian family. I have mixed feelings. It would be one thing if I was having a dream about just a family getting assassinated...but this was one speaking a different language. I found it strange that my mind was putting this in my dream when I dont even speak russian. I only remembered a few of the words the soldiers said and my aunt confirmed that they were indeed real russian words. I think it may just be that I when I spend time with my aunt i remember all the words she uses subconciously..but i also think it could be some kind of message.. I don't know what though.

They can be comforting or disturbing, but they are just dreams.

Some native american indians believe that your subconcious talks to you through your dreams and some scientists believ it's just your brain going over what you did during the day in some weird f**ked up way.
We may never really know for certain tho.

I believe both those things, but I don't believe they can predict the future.
