I was looking at Jersey Devil pictures when I saw this one that I hope everyone will question.

hmm.gif Weird isn't it?

Looks like a deer jacking gone horribly wrong

Well, firstly, the image URL from the site you linked it says it's a cow's carcass.

Secondly, look at the image and the light on it. This is obviously a picture taken of a painting, or a framed picture of some sorts. It was not actually taken as it is. So i don't think it is real.

Looks like a painting to me, without the colour that is.

Actually this is real, and I read how this is done, I saw a similiar pic with a moose hanging from the lines. When the power company lays new lines they are on the ground then pull them taught - its very common to find some animal getting caught in the lines as they pull them up.

Fair enough, that's definately plausable.
Jeenuh
or it could be like tha other one, where a train hit it and flung it up there. o_o

Either way, the picture itself is not real.
Unless it's a real painting of a real carcass hanging up there, and someone just took a picture of that painting.

But why someone would paint that is beyond me. laugh.gif

Actually, bud, it's a form of new age art where the artist enlarges a photo and pastes it to the canvas, and presnts it under a new title. Quite good when pics of sunsets, waterfalls, and unexplained mysteries are involved in them.

Most people can only guess what happened, some say they jumped(HA HA) some say they were dropped(By what who know's) some say there pranks, or i guess you can let your imagination run wild....the first pic on this topic look's to be a cow and i have seen it before, and in my opinion, there is know way a cow can jump and hang on a wire or if the topic was right, that the power lines lifted it up, to me there is nooooo way a cow will balance its self on a single wire? or maybe its just me.

the ones of the deer on the powerlines were the ones i was talking about, it was hit by a train and flung into the lines.

and i believe that the one in the tree was supposed to have been something like a big cat(cougar?) drug it into the tree and left it there. most likely a prank though, since they found an arrow in it i think.

I'm guessing the carcasses were deposited by Tornado...

QUOTE
For hundreds of years there have been reports of strange objects (fish, turtles, etc.) falling from the sky, presumably after being lofted by some distant tornado. Now researchers at the University of Oklahoma’s School of Meteorology are interested in receiving such reports as part of a study of severe storm dynamics. And while falling fish are of interest, reports of items that can be traced back to their source of origin (canceled checks, pieces of mail, etc.) are of most value. Recent research has collected a long list of items which have fallen from the skies, apparently after being lofted by a tornado. Some of the more interesting things that were gone with the wind: plate glass, land title papers, a music box, trousers, coats, a wedding gown, a tie rack, dead ducks, a cow...and an airplane wing. A jar of pickles was swept away and landed.....25 miles downwind. And it was unbroken.
